Pokémon: The Deltaverse is a series of Alternate Universe fanfics written by Krexxal.
Taking place during Pokémon Journeys: The Series, the series starts with Ash, Goh and Chloe heading to the Hoenn region, following the events of the Delta Episode. Brendan and Serena later join the group along with May and Sawyer.

- Adapted Out: Unlike the events of ORAS, Team Magma and Aqua don't appear in the Delta Episode.
- Age Lift: Ash and the gang are aged up to 14.
- Ascended Extra:
- Brendan only makes small cameos through the anime. Here, he's upgraded to a relevant character in The Delta Episode.
- Goh's Darmanitan gains a larger role in A Crowning Friendship, as the Pokemon who helps rescue Ash and Serena.
- Author Avatar: Terry and Rose (two trainers Ash and Serena battle in the Mauville Food Court) are trainersonas of the writer and his friend.
- Beary Friendly: Like Pancham, Serena's Cubchoo is a friendly bear Pokemon.
- Breather Episode: Betting on the Past is a calm oneshot about the group spending the weekend at Cerise's lab.
- Canon Foreigner: Serena has several Pokemon she didn't have in the anime: Sceptile, Milotic and Cubchoo. On another note, Goh catches a Magneton and Galarian Darumaka, two Pokemon he doesn't have in Journeys.
- Distaff Counterpart: Serena's Sceptile is a female counterpart to Ash's Sceptile.
- Mythology Gag: Brendan's and Lucas's teams are taken straight from the Pokemon movies.
- Relationship Upgrade: In canon, Serena has a crush on Ash. In the Deltaverse, Ash and Serena become an official couple. Goh and Chloe are also hinted to be into each other.
- Shipper on Deck:
- Chloe and May both encourage Serena to ask out Ash.
- Serena. She thinks Goh and Chloe have a thing for each other, and brings up shipping in the shows she watches.
- Shipping Torpedo: Contestshipping (May/Drew) is shot down, shown by May and Drew having a messy breakup.
- Shout-Out: In Betting On The Past, Serena brings up a show she's been watching: Together with You
- Show Within a Show: The Mystery Dungeon series is a longrunning series of shows and movies in this universe.
- Take That!:
- Publicity takes a jab at Amour fics who reduce Serena to a Satellite Love Interest.
- Betting on the Past takes a jab at Netflix for being slow with the English dub of Pokemon Journeys.
- Titled After the Song: The last chapter of the Delta Episode is titled 'Journey to my Heart', a reference to the second opening of Pokemon Journeys. Appropriately enough, Haven Paschall (Serena's English voice actor) sings said opening.
- Unknowingly in Love: Ash takes a while to realize he's in love with Serena.
