Ohana of the Galaxy is a crossover with Lilo & Stitch: The Series and Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) by Epiclot214.

The Guardians of the Galaxy are called down to Earth to join Lilo and Stitch in their mission to protect the Earth. When their actions lead to the scattering of hundreds of dangerous Experiments, the Guardians and the Ohana must join forces to gather them all up and save the galaxy.

  • Adaptational Backstory Change: Dr. Jacques von Hämsterviel is one of the genetically enhanced animals that was created by a group of mad scientists, along with Rocket Racoon and Lyla the Otter, abandoning the latter two during their escape from captivity.
  • Adaptational Origin Connection: Cobra Bubbles is an agent of S.W.O.R.D.
  • Big Bad Wannabe: In canon, Hamsterviel is the main antagonist of the series. Here, when he is being transported, he still proclaims he is the worst criminal in the galaxy. Sadly, one of the agents shuts him down saying there is someone a lot more worse than him in the cells.
  • Both Sides Have a Point: When Sparky escapes, the Guardians blame Rocket for activating him behind their backs, but Rocket points out that he had him contained and the only reason he escaped was because they barged in afterwards.
  • Everyone Has Standards: Despite Rocket's many flaws, he thinks that Hämsterviel's plan to take over the galaxy and wreck havoc on the populace via an experiment army in order to take out his pain on everyone else is completely insane, and tells him so to his face.
  • Freudian Excuse Is No Excuse: Rocket knows exactly what Hämsterviel went through, having experienced it himself, but he still thinks that his plans are insane and that his past pain doesn't justify taking it out on the galaxy at large.
  • Fusion Fic: Like most of Epiclot214's stories, this one combines Lilo and Stitch with the Guardians of the Galaxy with the Galactic Alliance being known by the Guardians and Nova Corps.
  • Ham-to-Ham Combat: When the Guardians finally meet him in person, Hämsterviel and Quill get into a verbal battle over which one is crazier.
  • Mythology Gag: While thinking that they've found Sparky at a fenced yard, Mantis suggests one of them be tossed over the fence, then Drax instantly tosses Lilo over the fence.
Peter: What the heck was that, Drax?!
Drax: I tossed her over the fence like Mantis suggested.
Mantis: I didn't mean right that second. I meant after one of us was ready to be tossed. I wasn't even done talking.
Drax: Toss someone over the fence. Don't toss someone over the fence. Make up your mind.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: When the Grand Councilwoman tasks the Guardians with stopping Hämsterviel, Rocket says they'll take the job before discussing their payment, which leaves Peter Quill surprised. This is soon revealed is because Rocket has a grudge on Hämsterviel.
  • Sealed Evil in a Can: Magus is sealed in an orb in the prison Hämsterviel is sent to after he's captured.
  • Shout-Out: When Rocket has Hamsterviel at his mercy under the laser he was going to use on Stitch, he paraphrases Monk by turning it on, then turning it off again, saying that it was Lyla who did so.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Rocket threatens Mertle and her friends with his blaster after she calls him a raccoon.
