Oddysey of Hurt is a Sonic the Hedgehog fanfiction written by Miru. This fanfiction concerns Rouge the Bat being abused by Shadow the Hedgehog, and Knuckles the Echidna coming to her rescue. Sonic and Blaze also discuss Blaze's abuse at the hands of Silver years past. The Chaotix arrive to help Knuckles, but betray him for money and tie Rouge to the railroad tracks. Knuckles saves her, though. Ultimately, Rouge is beaten so badly, she is hospitalized. Knuckles has to help her recover. It

- Chained to a Railway: In part 3, Shadow bribes the Chaotix and has them tie Rouge to a railway.
- Disney Death: Rouge the Bat has one in the hospital.
- Disproportionate Retribution: Poor Rouge gets beaten by Shadow over the most minor of things.
- Domestic Abuse: Shadow beats Rouge on a regular basis
- Hair-Trigger Temper: Shadow beat Rouge for not getting him the right amount of chicken nuggets.
- No-Holds-Barred Beatdown: Shadow does an absolutely merciless beatdown on Rouge in chapter 4. These include burning Rouge's hands and feet, spanking her, and punching her against the wall.
