Lost Latte is a fanfiction by Gullfriend31 where Latte from Healin' Good♡Pretty Cure is separated from her friends and they have to find each other, on the way she meets characters from other Precure series.

Lost Latte provides examples of:

  • Accidental Tickle Torture: A baby scratches Latte's neck, accidentally tickling her which causes her to giggle, giving away the fact she's not a stuffed animal and she and the Cures are kicked out of the bus.
  • Armor-Piercing Question: After Mashiro yells at Sora for failing to protect Latte, Mashiro asks if her and Tsubasa's efforts meant anything to her, catching Sora off guard and having her unable to respond.
  • Baffled by Own Biology: At the start of the story, Asumi (a humanoid spirit who Really Was Born Yesterday) sweats for the first time and asks if she's melting. Chiyu tells her that it's normal to sweat when you're exercising.
  • Catapult Nightmare: Latte bolts up when she wakes up from a nightmare of losing her friends to Neo King Biogen.
  • Cats Are Mean: Several Alley cats attack Latte until Sora rescues her.
  • Children Are Innocent:
    • When a dog is dragged away by a pound employee, the other dogs are sad, but Latte has no idea why they feel that way.
    • Ellee-Chan, being a baby, is too young to understand why the girls are sad after thinking Latte was dead..
  • Devastating Remark: In "The Great Escape", Sora blames herself for Latte's supposed death. Mashiro attempts to console her, but Sora turns on her, ranting that if she hadn't suggested going out without Latte, Kabaton wouldn't have gone after her and Tsubasa. What really pushes Mashiro over the edge is when Sora claims she didn't help and that there's nothing anyone can do to fix it. Mashiro tearfully asks Sora if her and Tsubasa's efforts to find Latte's owners meant nothing to her. Sora is speechless, and Mashiro runs off sobbing.
  • Dramatic Irony: The readers know Latte is okay, but Tsubasa is led to believe she fell into a ravine and died.
  • Everybody Cries: The Healin Good Cures and the Healing Animals cry together when Sora tells them Latte died.
  • Face Death with Dignity: A dog makes no attempt to resist an employee who is about to put her to sleep.
  • Funny Fan Voice: Kabaton says "Welcome to Heaven!" when he's in front of a fan at Home Depot. He's amused by his distorted voice.
  • Go-to-Sleep Ending: The story ends with Latte sleeping with Asumi and Nonoka's in their room after she calms down from her nightmare.
  • Growling Gut: Latte's stomach growls twice from hunger, when she wakes up and after Sora saves her from the alley cats.
  • It's All My Fault: The Healing Animals and The Healin Good Cures, especially Asami blame themselves for her disappearing because they weren't responsible enough. Later, Sora and Tsubasa blame themselves for what they think is Latte's death.
  • Holding in Laughter: In "Home is Where the Heart Is", Latte is pretending to be a stuffed animal so that she won't get kicked off the bus. A baby starts to pet her neck, tickling her. She tries to keep it in, but it's more than she can stand and she begins to laugh loudly. As such, the annoyed bus driver orders her and the Cures off the bus.
  • The Homeward Journey: The plot is Latte ended up far away from her friends and she spends the story running into some other Cures on her way as they help her find her way home.
  • Howl of Sorrow: Latte howls sadly in the rain due to missing her friends.
  • Misdirected Outburst: Sora's angry and devastated over Latte's supposed death and ends up taking her anger out of Mashiro which she regrets afterwards.
  • Mistaken for Stray: After Latte gets separated from the Healin' Good♡Pretty Cure girls, she falls down an Inevitable Waterfall and lands in a lake. Laura from Tropical-Rouge! Pretty Cure saves her from drowning and brings her to Manatsu. Manatsu does not notice her collar and asks Laura if they can keep her, only for Laura to point out that she must have an owner since she has a collar. Manatsu's slightly disappointed by this, but she agrees to keep Latte until they can find her owners.
  • Never Found the Body: Cure Wing finds Latte's collar, which leads to him believing she drowned.
  • Not Now, We're Too Busy Crying Over You: When Latte is brought home, Hinata doesn't notice her and says she's too busy grieving over her, but she brightens up when she sees Latte is there and alive.
  • My Eyes Are Leaking: Asami wonders why her eyes are sweating when she cries for the first time.
  • Never Say "Die": It's never outright stated that everyone falsely believes Latte fell to her death in a ravine, nor when it was implied a dog at the pound was going to be put to sleep. It just showed the dogs looking sad.
  • Puppy-Dog Eyes: Latte shows puppy eyes to Kabaton, begging him to share pancakes with her. He is unaffected and throws a fork at her to make her leave him alone.
  • Running Away to Cry: Mashiro runs away from Sora crying after their fight.
  • Single Tear: Queen Teatinu sheds a single tear after Chiyu tells her Latte died, Sora also sheds a tear after fighting Mashiro.
  • Tears of Joy: Asumi cries tears of joy when she reunites with Latte. She's confused by this until Nodoka tells her crying out of happiness is a normal thing.
  • Tears of Remorse: Sora cries from guilt for yelling at Mashiro.
  • Tropey, Come Home: The point of the story is Latte being separated from the Cures after she falls off a ledge and she's on a journey to find them.
  • Will Not Tell a Lie: Sora becomes uncomfortable when Tsubasa suggests they pretend Latte is a stuffed animal so they can get on a bus where animals are not allowed. Mashiro tells her sometimes lying is necessary to protect someone.
