This fanfic stars Nightcloud as we figure out that Crowfeather hates her. At a gathering, she meets Leafpool, who she gets a crush on. After that, they keep meeting in secret until Nightcloud eventually gets pregnant. She gives birth to four kits, and she, Leafpool, and Breezepelt kill Crowfeather as revenge afterwards.

- Artistic License – Animal Care: Crowfeather tells Nightcloud that he's going to drink beer with friends, despite the fact that cats shouldn't be able to drink beer because of alcohol poisoning.
- Captain Obvious: Crowfeather asks if the kits of Leafpool and Nightcloud are his. Obviously not.
- Department of Redundancy Department: The description of the fic reads: "it's a leafxnight fanfic" although it's quite easy to tell from the title.
- Fan-Created Offspring: Flopkit, Petalkit, Darkkit (or was it "Darkit"?), and Breezekit.
- Homosexual Reproduction: Nightcloud and Leafpool have four kits together, despite both being she-cats.
- Hurt/Comfort Fic: Nightcloud (and Breezepelt) are hurt, and Leafpool is the comfort.
- It Must Be Mine!: Crowfeather refuses to share his prey with Nightcloud.

- Obviously Evil: Crowfeather yells out that Breezepelt can rot in the Dark Forest because he sucks, and the entire clan looks at him and begins whispering.
- Only the Leads Get a Happy Ending: Every character except Crowfeather gets a happy ending.
- Pun: Chapter 3 is known as "Chapter tree".
- And, as also stated in the chapter's name, the author did it on purpose.
- Short Story: It's 3 chapters long, all of which are quite short.
- Suddenly Shouting: Leafpool shouts at Nightcloud for pushing her at a gathering, and regrets it instantly.
- There Is Another: In Chapter 3, Nightcloud is said to give birth to three kits, but there are four kit names.
