I Survived the Enchanted Woods is an Irish horror story based off of the 2017 video game Brawl Stars published on Wattpad in 2023. Here, the Enchanted Woods are depicted as a red hellish Eldritch Location that visitors are said to never come back from. Doug hears about this location and is immediately interested, visiting the woods, ignoring other people's warnings after having read a Creepypasta about the location.
When he gets into the woods, though, he is whisked away into a sinister forest inhabited by demons, monsters and horrifying creatures that stalk his every step - and it's up to him to get out of the Enchanted Woods alive.

"Not sure if it was just me, but I started to see tropes. Lots of them."
- Big Bad: The Shadowman, a shadowy black figure that leads the four demons in the story.
- Big Creepy-Crawlies: Bug Demon Bea is, as her name implies, a bug-like demon who steals other people's souls to feed to her pet bug.
- Dark Is Evil: The Shadowman, through and through.
- Deceptively Silly Title: The Enchanted Woods don't sound too scary from the sound of the name.
- Dream Sequence: The epilogue. Doug goes to bed in his apartment, but as he does, he dreams about being in the Enchanted Woods from the actual game the story is based on. He finds a mushroom and goes to inspect it, only for Cordelius to spot him, becoming angry that he's "touched his shrooms". He then goes mad and chases Doug down, followed by Wood Spirit Chester, Haunted House 8-Bit, Stone Troll Lou and Dark Fairy Janet. Doug then questions what will happen.
- Enchanted Forest: The original Enchanted Woods location is a magical forest, hence the name. Naturally, I Survived The Enchanted Woods threw this out the window.note
- Eldritch Location: The Enchanted Woods as portrayed in the story. Its main color palette consists of a hellish red and is filled with evil demons, the main one being a tall shadow demon named The Shadowman.
- Everyone Went to School Together: The story claims that Doug first met Buzz in elementary school, who saved him when he was being picked on by a group of bullies.
- "Jump Off a Bridge" Rebuttal: Buzz gives this quip to Doug when he hears that he's going to the Enchanted Woods, having heard about the eponymous forest after reading a creepypasta on the internet.Buzz: If HE jumped off a bridge, would you?Doug: Well, that's a different story, but I do wanna go there.
- Laughing Mad: Dark Matter Tick is said to always be cackling.Dark Matter Tick: A-HAHAHA-HAHA-HAHAHAHAHAHA-HA!
- Token Good Teammate: Birdhouse Barley is the only demon in the Enchanted Woods willing to help Doug survive.
- What will happen to me? I don't know either.
