Guardian Angel is a Five Nights at Freddy's Fan Fic written by IAmHoussem17 and published on FanFiction.Net and Archive of Our Own.
The plot follows an Alternate Universe where Charlotte Emily, the daughter of Henry Emily (also known as Cassette Man), was not killed by William Afton thanks to the intervention of William's son, Michael.
Charlotte and Michael then go on to uncover the mysteries surrounding some strange events that happened after the day they met involving their fathers, all while a budding romance is forming between them.
Not to be confused with the My Little Pony fanfic of the same name.

This fic provides examples of the following tropes:
- Adults Are Useless: As Michael notes, no one in the Fazbear restaurant even seems to notice he came unaccompanied.
- Affectionate Nickname: Invoked by Charlotte who tells Michael to call her Charlie since they're friends.
- Age Lift: Charlie and Michael are made to be the same age here, which is most likely not the case in canon.
- Alternate Universe Fic: Aside from Charlie being alive, there are also differences such as her and Michael being the same age and William remaining a human after his murder spree.
- Big Bad: None other than William Afton.
- Big Damn Heroes: Michael comes to Charlotte's rescue when she's locked out of the restaurant by kids.
- Bonding over Missing Parents: One thing that Charlotte and Michael discover they have in common is their dead mothers.
- Chekhov's Gun: Charlie's green bracelet is what makes Michael remember her.
- Cliffhanger: The first chapter ends with William finding out that Charlotte got away. Irritated, he decides to "discipline some children".
- Composite Character: Whereas they were different in canon, The kids that locked Charlie out are the same ones who were killed by William.
- Declaration of Protection: Michael makes this to Charlotte, telling her to call him if the kids give her trouble again.
- Did I Just Say That Out Loud?: It doesn't hit Charlie that she called Mike handsome until he points it out, making her flustered. She still rolls with it though.
- Fix Fic: It is tagged as one for Charlotte's original death on AO3.
- Forgotten First Meeting: Subverted in that both Michael and Charlie remember their first meeting, but when they meet again years later, it's only after Michael realizes who she is that Charlie recognizes him.
- Good Parents: Henry loves Charlie, and trusts her judgement regarding Michael despite his relation to William.
- Insecure Love Interest: While explaining why he's reluctant to go with Charlie to her empty house, Michael comments that the two could never be a couple cause she's too good for him, but Charlie rebukes him with a You Are Better Than You Think You Are speech and blurting out that she thinks he's handsome and very kind to boot so any girl would be lucky to have him, much to his embarrassment.
- Kids Are Cruel: The ones that locked Charlotte out of the restaurant. Subverted with the reveal that William was using them to lure other children in.
- Point of Divergence: What if Charlotte Emily didn't die because Michael Afton was at the restaurant where she died?
- Sadistic Choice: William gives this to Henry: either give up Charlie or Michael.
- She Is All Grown Up: Played straight and gender-inverted. Both Charlotte and Michael think the other grew up to be goodlooking.
- Shipper on Deck: Elizabeth teases Michael and Charlie about being a couple.
- Shout-Out: There are three in Chapter 3:
- Liz saying she's going to play games about cute wolf girls, bunny girls and fox girls.
- Michael and Charlie mention characters from the game OFF while playing it.
- Henry quotes a similar line heard in the first episode of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
- Spared by the Adaptation: The plot is kickstarted by Charlotte surviving the ordeal that led to her death in the original games.
- Time Skip: The second chapter makes one towards Michael's and Charlotte's teenage years.
- Wham Line: From the end of the first chapter: "The area was empty, the rope was tied to something over the wall."
- What If?: Charlotte lived thanks to Michael Afton?
