"I am the Red Dragon Emperor!"
Delinquency of the Red Dragon is a High School D×D fanfiction written by Shirou Fujimura (author), an OC-Insert/Protagonist-replacement with a mix of AU elements.

Delinquent, Brother, Culinary Master, Kicker of Asses; All of these are the words that Shirou "Mad Dog" Fujimura used to describe himself. Never once in his life did he think "Devil" would become one of those words too. But that's just what happens when an idiot with black Angel wings stabs him through the chest and throws you into oncoming traffic. His name is Shirou Fujimura, the Sekiryuutei - The Red Dragon Emperor.

THIS is his story.

The fanfic has been removed from the authors account along with all of his other fics, and is as such considered a Dead Fic.

Tropes found in this fanfiction:

  • Adaptational Dumbass - Raynare, not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed in canon, is made even dumber for the sake of comedy in this story.
  • Aloof Ally - Shirou is this to the rest of the ORC.
  • Alternate Universe Fic - Protagonist, Shirou Fujimura, whose birth, along with that of his sister, Mika, resulted from several changes to the canon past.
  • Anti-Hero - Shirou counts as this since he does very violent things for good reasons (even if he denies having any good intentions at all). Taken all the way since he would have killed Raynare for everything she did if the others didn't stop him.. It happens again when an enraged Shirou attempts to murder Riser, snapped out of his fury only by Asia's interference, which resulted in his loss.
  • Arc Villain -
    • First arc = Raynare.
    • Second arc = Riser Phenex
  • Barrier-Busting Blow - Shirou does one of these to the door to the ritual room in the abandoned church with a cry of "KNOCK KNOCK, BITCHES!"
  • Berserk Button - NEVER refer to Shirou as a "weakling".
  • Biblical Bad Guy - Considering this is a High School D×D fanfiction, this should be obvious.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing - Raynare, but only in the first chapter.
  • Blood Is the New Black - Shirou spends so much of the story coated in his or someone else's blood, it's a wonder he doesn't start to wear red just so it'll be harder to see.
  • Bond Villain Stupidity - Raynare kills Shirou rather than recruiting him for his Sacred Gear, forcibly taking his Sacred Gear, or at the very least hiding his body. This stupidity leads to Shirou's resurrection as a Devil and allows him to foil her plans. Lampshaded by Shirou himself when mocking the villain about their stupidity.
  • Bound and Gagged - Michael Hanamura does this to the three Fallen Angels who try to attack him while he prepars to blow up the church.
  • Casual Danger Dialog - When confronted by and wounded by Raynare, Shirou still keeps up his sarcasm and habit of pointing out everyone else's faults in logic.
  • Cavalry Refusal - When Shirou insists on protecting Asia (making out that it's for no reason but selfish ones, naturally), Rias tells him that the cavalry has no chance of arriving in his defence due to bullshit politics.
  • Character Depth - On the outside, Shirou comes across as an overly aggressive thug who hates everyone around him. It's been made clear several times, however, that there is much more to his personality than meets the eye. Chapter 8 even shows that he seems to have some rather complex feelings on the subject of love. It's also shown that Shirou possesses a deep complex about how strong others perceive him as.
  • Corrupt Church - Due to the Fallen Angels taking residence there.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle - Shirou's fight with Raynare evolves into this when Shirou's resolve grants him the [EXPLOSION] ability.
  • Delinquent Hair - Albeit not by choice. Shirou's dyed-white hair is a result of a joke by his friend/not-friend, Michael Hanamura.
  • Deadpan Snarker - Shirou often slips into this when speaking to others.
  • Determinator - Shirou earned his status as one during this fight with Riser, even continuing on after having a FLAMING HOLE BURNED INTO HIS CHEST.
  • Diner Brawl - Occurs in a fast food restaurant when the Mooks Shirou has fought in the past show up looking for revenge.
  • Diplomatic Impunity - Due to the only actions of hostility being toward Shirou when he was a human and when he had Asia, the Devils are incapable of delivering any punishment to the Fallen Angels without risking serious political backlash.
  • Does This Remind You of Anything? - Shirou's in-fight banter with Isabela is very suggestive in content.
  • Evil Gloating -
    • Raynare likes to do this a lot.
    • As does Freed.
  • Fallen Angel - Again, this is a High School D×D fanfiction, so this was guaranteed.
  • "Facing the Bullets" One-Liner - While bleeding out after being impaled by Raynare, Shirou takes the opportunity, whilst thinking he's going to die, to point out how stupid Raynare's scheme is.
  • Fight Magnet - Wherever Shirou goes, you can almost guarantee that somebody's going to try and beat the hell out of him (with an almost non-existent rate of success).
  • Got Volunteered - Shirou has no apparent interest in housing Asia (it turns out he wants her to have a normal life and thinks that her staying with him will be a hindrance to that) until all of her things, purchased new by Rias, are delivered to his door without his knowledge and he is guilt-tripped into taking her in.
  • Handicapped Badass - Mika Fujimura, as proved when she utterly fucked up Yubelluna.
  • Heel–Face Turn - A rather humorous example. Raynare, after being spared by Shirou, who had beat her to a pulp, ripped her wing off, and been about to kill her, decides to put some effort into becoming a better person ... mere seconds before some TNT is detonated under the church and she is killed in the explosion.
  • Hero of Another Story - Michael Hanamura is Alternate Universe counterpart of the protagonist of another fanfiction called High School DxD: The Tale of the Gutsy Sekiryuutei!
  • Hidden Heart of Gold - Shirou does this frequently, going to great lengths to deny heroic intent.
  • Japanese Delinquents - Considering "Delinquency" is in the actual title of the story, this should be obvious.
  • Just a Kid - A variant. Rather than being about Shirou's age, it instead relates to how long he's been a Devil. He is underestimated because he's barely been a Devil for a week or two when the first big fight happens.
  • Let's Get Dangerous! - Michael Hanamura is caught by the Fallen Angels ... only to incapacitate and bind them "off-screen".
  • Loony Friends Improve Your Personality - While Shirou would most definitely argue against it, since joining the ORC, a group with a high-class Devil with destructive powers, her lightning-power super-perfect best friend, a handsome swordsman, and a super-strong loli, he has grown as a person.
  • Main Characters - Shirou Fujimura, Rias Gremory, Akeno Himejima, Yuuto Kiba, Koneko Toujou, and Asia Argento.
  • Morality Chain - Mika and Asia act as this for Shirou, their presence encouraging him to restrain his more violent and vulgar impulses.
  • Nay-Theist - Despite being a Devil and having fought Fallen Angels, Shirou does not believe the Christian God exists, something commented upon by other characters.
  • Neutral Female - During Shirou's rescue of Asia, she does basically nothing but scold him for both putting himself in danger and claiming that he's "FUCKED bigger cunts than this bitch (referring to Raynare)." in response to Asia's worry.
  • Nice Job Fixing It, Villain - Basically every action Raynare takes in the first arc leads directly to her defeat at Shirou's hands.
  • Pre Asskicking Oneliner - Given several times throughout the story courtesy of Shirou.
    • "Scuse me one second, ladies, but I have to painfully return this blunt object to some assholes." - Shirou after removing a window-shattering crowbar that had lodged into his skull courtesy of some Mooks (results in Diner Brawl).
    • "It's time to let the dog off its leash." - Shirou shortly preceding his Curb-Stomp Battle with Freed.
    • "Now, bow your head and apologize, you son of a bitch!" - Shirou shortly before starting his fight with Riser.
  • Punched Across the Room - When Shirou goes full JoJo's Bizarre Adventure on Freed and ends by punching him across the church.
    • He later does the same to Riser.
  • Rated M for Manly - With the amount of action scenes and Shirou's attitude toward fighting, this is a given.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni - Shirou is the Red Oni to his younger sister, Mika's Blue. Shirou is brash, violent, yet actually kind and honest besides his Jerkass behavior while Mika tends to come off as a Bitch in Sheep's Clothing, being calculating, more passive and manipulative and openly cold towards anyone outside her "family". Shirou choice of clothing is more reserved while Mika shows no regard for how she dresses. Furthermore, Shirou's white hair is a stark contrast to Mika's black hair. Shirou is usually more sexually reserved while Mika is sexually aggressive (though only in the case of her brother).
  • Redundant Rescue - The ORC turn up to save Raynare from Shirou because Mika made a pact with them to stop her brother from becoming a murderer ... Raynare dies, anyway, in a firey explosion that should have happened earlier in the night (quite hilariously, I might add).
  • Regular Character - Mika Fujimura and Michael Hanamura.
  • Save the Villain - See Redundant Rescue.
  • Senseless Sacrifice - Shirou dies the first time around pushing a girl out of the way of a speeding truck. Unfortunately for him, this girl happened to be a Fallen Angel orchestrating his death.
  • Smoking Is Cool - Averted in that every time Shirou starts smoking, somebody complains and/or tries to stop him.
  • Storming the Castle - Shirou's assault on the church.
  • Stupid Evil - Raynare.
  • Swiss-Cheese Security - You'd think that, given the importance of the ritual, the Fallen Angels would have put a lot more people outside the church to guard them, but Shirou and Michael approach completely undetected, and Shirou even goes in and starts causing shit before Michael is caught at the worst possible moment.
  • Sword and Gun - Freed.
  • Time for Plan B -
    • After the plan to blow up the church at midnight with everyone inside fails, Shirou is forced to improvise.
    • Shirou's response to Mika refusing to help Susan-san get with her crush. Plan B, as it turns out, was quite hilarious.
  • Tsundere - Shirou. Lampshaded by Koneko and Mika multiple times (with Koneko even using the trope name as part of a nickname for Shirou).
    • Lampshaded again in chapter 8, where Shirou unintentionally confirms it himself while trying to correct Susan's pronunciation of the word.
  • Underestimating Badassery - People have a bad habit of underestimating Shirou's ability to kick your ass.
  • Violence is the Only Option - Generally how Shirou views most situations.
