Try as he might, Midoriya Izuku can't become something else. He has this thirst; a thirst for blood. Nothing but the crimson life liquid will quench it, yet this monster still tries to become a savior, a hero.

- Adaptational Badass: With a quirk he has learned to use throughout this entire life, Izuku was able to come out of the Heroes vs. Villains Exercise much better than he did in canon completely overwhelming Kirishima and Sero by himself.
- Adaptation Personality Change: RyujinMaou has admitted to finding Ochaco's canon Girl Next Door characterization to be "boring as vanilla ice-cream", so while they intend on having her as part of Izuku's harem, it's only after they've developed her personality in a different direction. Namely by turning her into a yandere, having her become obsessed with Izuku after he bit her, to the point of stealing one of his shirts and inhaling his "scent", directly comparing her to Himiko Toga.
- Bad Powers, Good People: Izuku's quirk gives him vampire powers (including a thirst for blood), he can weaponize his own blood as weapons and is even able to copy the quirks of those who he feeds directly from to a minor extent, but Izuku is hellbent on becoming a hero.
- Charm Person: Izuku can hypnotize people with prolonged eye contact.
- Daywalking Vampire: While Izuku does posses an aversion to sunlight and can burn him if he stays exposed for it for too long, years of honing his quirk has allowed him to consciously use his Healing Factor to heal from any degradation, allowing him to walk about in the day time unharmed for limited periods of time. He even calls this aspect of his quirk "[Day walker]".
- Extreme Libido: Izuku's Quirk comes with an inner voice. When it is not trying to talk him into violence or feeding, it will encourage him to have sex.
- Fantastic Racism: Izuku has been a repeat pariah in society due to the dark connotations of his quirk, something that Bakugo certainly has not helped with.
- For Want Of A Nail:
- Mineta gets expelled on day one for underperforming in the quirk assessment test.
- With an odd-number of students, Izuku is forced to face Kirishima and Sero by himself.
- Healing Factor: Izuku can heal to the point that he survives a beatdown from the nomu that should have killed or crippled a normal human. He also reconnects his severed arm with little effort, but extreme pain.
- Horror Hunger: Izuku's craving for blood can be close to this.
- Kiss of the Vampire: Izuku's taking blood from Mei brings her pleasurenote and it even leads to Mei having an orgasm.
- Inspite Of A Nail: Despite having a quirk, Bakugo is still abrasive and abusive towards Izuku.
- Our Vampires Are Different: Izuku's quirk "True Ancestor" is a Mutant/Transformation-type quirk that basically gives him the physiology of a vampire. He possesses enhanced senses, sharp claws for climbing and a Healing Factor and even has some level of Hemeokinesis. While he does possess an aversion to the sun and can become predatory if he goes too long without feeding, he is not harmed by crosses, garlic or water.
- Power Copying: Izuku is capable of gaining new facets to his quirk whenever he feeds off of someone directly (blood-packs do not count), gaining a shield ability when he licks Kirishima's wound being one example.
- Randomly Gifted: Izuku's Quirk is abnormally powerful and has some similarities to All for One. It is made explicit that he gained it by random genetic mutation rather than any form of selective breeding.
- Shout-Out:
- Izuku's hero costume was deliberately based off of Vampyr (2018) protagonist Jonathan E. Reid.
- The final line in Chapter 8 is the old adage from Bloodborne.[We are born of the blood, made man by the blood, undone by the blood.]
- "True Ancestor" is a term used for elite vampires in Nasuverse.
- Spider-Sense: Izuku's "[Hunter Instincts]" go off whenever he senses danger nearby, and can even cause him to lash out like a cornered animal as part of a flight/fight response. This behavior becomes stronger the more killing intent he can sense, nearly going rabid whenever Shigaraki is nearby.
- Unstoppable Rage: Izuku reaches a form of primal state after getting injured by the nomu that causes him to genuinely try to kill it and Shigaraki.
