Anime X DC Comics is a video series of crossovers combining anime with DC Comics. The series borrows elements from the various DC media including the DC Animated Universe, the Arrowverse and the DC Extended Universe.

Anime x DC Comics contains the following tropes:
- Action Girl: There are plenty of superheroines including Diana from The World's Strongest and Melissa Shield who is the Ninth Wielder of One For All.
- Adaptational Backstory Change:
- The Amazons from The World's Strongest are not the creations of the Greek Gods but of the Kais, namely the Supreme Kai.
- In the main comics, the Green Lantern Corps are an alliance of alien protectors. In Emerald Twilight, they are a military division of NERV composed of humans.
- Adaptational Badass:
- Melissa Shield receives the power of One For All in "The Dark Knight Returns".
- In Emerald Twilight, Shinji has military training at the start. Then, he received a Lantern ring which gives him a means to defend himself even without an Evangelion.
- Adaptational Superpower Change: Some characters have their powers replaced with those belonging to DC Heroes.
- Naruto possesses the powers of Swamp Thing rather than the Nine-Tailed Fox, giving him plant-based abilities.
- In The Fallen Hero, Issei uses the Scarab rather than the Boosted Gear.
- Adaptational Wimp:
- In The Dark Knight Returns, Izuku never obtained the power of One For All.
- Downplayed. Diana would take the trainings that her husband would have taken in canon to develop his abilities. However despite Goku never learning them, he is still above Diana in terms of power.
- Badass Normal:
- Batman and the Bat Family are the main examples. Izuku Midoriya from The Dark Knight Returns is this as well, having trained under them for years.
- Damian in Tales of the Robin has no powers compared to his other fellow heroes and yet, he has more skills than them.
- Crossover Couple: A few of the fics have this, with the prime examples being Goku and Diana who are currently husband and wife.
- Crossover Power Acquisition:
- In World's Strongest, Diana would train under King Kai to obtain Kaio-Ken.
- In The Fallen Hero, Shiera Hall obtained the Boosted Gear, making her the Red Dragon Empress.
- In King of the Beast, Naruto would have the powers of Swamp Thing while Kori has the power of the Nine-Tailed Fox.
- What If?:
- What if Deku became Batman's newest successor?
- What if Wonder Woman lived in the world of Dragon Ball?
- What if Superman was adopted into the Kurosaki family?
- What if Shinji Ikari became the Green Lantern?
