Dan Vs. The Magic of Freindship is a fanfiction created by Barrobroadcastor.
To summarize, Dan is transported to Equestria after he tries to use the bathroom on a plane, only to pull open the emergency exit. Expecting to die, he falls through Equestria's cloud barrier, and it follows with all sorts of misadventures throughout the MLP world.
Given that the fic was based off the Ask Fluffle Puff Tumblr blog, it's no surprise that Chrysalis and Fluffle Puff are both major characters.
In chapter 6, Phoenix Wright becomes a main character.
These tropes are shown:
- The Atoner: Prince Blueblood of all characters.
- The Cameo: Several characters cameo, sometimes for no reason, like M. Bison in chapter 11.
- Call-Back: Several in the fic, of course, but Phoenix muses about going against Fransizka and Godot in Episode 14, and being in Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
- Egopolis: Prince Blueblood, while Celestia and Luna have mysteriously vanished, turns Ponyville into a town in his image; Bluebloodestria.
- Exactly What It Says on the Tin: Dan beats the crap out of Prince Blueblood with a Car Phone
- Fun with Acronyms: The Citizens United Delivering Defence, Love and Enforcement and Ponies Intent on Liberating Equestria, and Dan's lawn defense system, the Greatly Efficient Tactically Optimized Fast Firing Multi-Assault Independent Laser Armored Weapons Network.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: If Fluffle Puff speaks coherently, something serious is going on.
- Stealth Pun: When discussing plans for dealing with the enclave, Dan represents Blast Fuse and Powder with cherries.
