- Take two sips every time someone returns from a presumed death.
- Three sips if Shelby lampshades it.
- Finish your glass if it's Raven.
- Take a sip every time Otto or Wing makes a cryptic pseudo-wise remark.
- Three sips every time the library is mentioned.
- Take a sip every time someone is referred to as a "ninja."
- Take a sip every time Shelby calls Wing something you'd only refer to a significant other by ("hunk," "hot stuff," etc) before they start dating.
- Two sips after they start dating.
- A sip every time one of the Alphas calls a teammate by their last name.
- Two sips if it's their love interest.
- Drain your glass each time a kid says seriously that Raven is going to kill them.
- Drain your class whenever an Alpha threatens to kill or maim another H.I.V.E. student.
- Take a sip if Laura is described as a better programmer than Otto, and two sips if Otto is described as a better programmer than Laura.
- Finish your glass if a main character lies to a teacher or staff member for plot-relevant reasons.
- Take a sip for every Star Wars or Star Trek reference used.
- Take two sips if the reference is used to describe a character.
- Three sips if it's Lucy Dexter.
- Drain your glass every time two(or more) characters start talking about the opposite gender during a life-threatening situation.
- Take a shot every time Laura is kidnapped or captured.
- Take a sip every time a character turns out to be working for Overlord.
- Drain your glass every time the U.S. President does something the U.S. President would never be allowed to do.
