is a now-offline The Heaven Cycle fanfiction series written by Friendly_Neighborhood_Writer about a group of teens who become Ghost Hunters after an encounter with the hostile spirit of a Serial Killer. While investigating a house, two of them come across the spirit of a little girl, which gets them into trouble with a human trafficking ring that has been working from the shadows.

- Matt seemed ready to kill Margaret when she scared off a ghost he and Jeffery were talking to.
- Julia really lets Margaret have it after hounding her about their breakup.
- Big Bad Duumvirate: Seemingly Ashton “Ash” Sharpe and Margaret Niles.
- Complete Monster: Ashton "Ash" Sharpe is just a monstrous as his canon counterpart. A sadistic member of Scott Niles's human trafficking ring, Ash is introduced upset at not being able to rape and murder a man's family, and gleefully picks a family of three when offered to by Scott. Raping the father, then threatening to castrate him if he doesn't choose whether Ash should rape his wife or son next, Ash callously murders him and the latter, leaving the mother to be raped by Scott's daughter after accepting her job of killing her ex-girlfriend and her old friends. Murdering their neighbor and his dog just so he could use his house as "reconnaissance", Ash panics when he follows them to his "body house". Planning on murdering all of them, Ash takes one them hostage. When Mint's ghost arrives, Ash mocks the latter before being overpowered and arrested. While interrogated, it is revealed he had stashed 30 bodies under the house.
- The Cutie: The Ghost child, later revealed to be Mint.
- The Dragon: Ash functions as this for both Scott Niles and Margaret Niles.
- Depraved Bisexual: Ash likes people of both genders. Including children.
- Even Evil Has Loved Ones:
- A vile human trafficker, Scott no-the-less cares about his daughter, Margaret.
- Zig-zagged and ultimately subverted with Margaret. While she did want to stop raping women under he dad’s trafficking ring for Julia’s sake, she ultimately ruins their relationship when she leaves Julia to die. That, and her overall Jerkass behavior left them on the cusp of a breakup either way. While she does try to get her back, she eventually gives up, goes back to raping women under dad’s ring, and sends Ash to rape and kill Julia and her friends as payback.
- Marcus continues to work with Scott after he threatens his family.
- Even Evil Has Standards:
- While less to do with morals and more to do with the unexpectedness of it, Hallow is shocked that Margaret would ditch her friends and girlfriend to die at his hands.
- Marcus Irons admits that even a killer like himself couldn’t stomach working with a human trafficking ring.
- Faux Affably Evil: Scott Niles talks politely to an associate about how he’ll hand his children over to Ash is he doesn’t pay for the shipment of his “people”.
- Greater-Scope Villain: While Ash and Margaret are the main threat, Scott is the leader of the human trafficking ring they work for.
- Hate Sink:
- Ash is a sadistic, pedophilic psychopath who rapes and murders for his own enjoyment.
- Margaret is a sexist coward who abandoned her girlfriend and friends to die at the hands of Jason Hallow. That’s not even getting into the fact she’s the spoiled daughter of a human trafficker, who uses her dad’s job to rape women.
- It's Personal with the Dragon: Ash is the one who killed Mint.
- Jerkass:
- The C-word is probably the nicest way you could describe Margaret. She’s even worse than she initially appears.
- Scott has no problem threaten a man’s family, then rubbing it in afterwards.
- Ash is sadistic, violent beast who takes sick pride in crimes. He is also notoriously hard to work with, considering Margaret needed to bring to wads to toss his way to get him to do anything without arguing.
- Nice Guy: Our protagonists.
- Lucas, while not into the ghost hunting business, is a polite kid who backed out of his crush on Julia with no fanfare after she revealed she was gay.
- Jeffery is a Kindhearted Simpleton to anyone not named Margaret.
- Julia is a sweet girl who let Lucas down gently,even felling more upset that she couldn’t be into him. That said, Margaret learns the hard way that pushing her too far can lead to a rather nasty surprise.
- Matt, while a bit dim, is chill, laidback, and loyal. He went as far as to spend a almost a whole year trying desperately to find Mint after Margaret scared her off.
- Psycho Lesbian: Margaret uses her dad’s human trafficking ring as a way to get women to rape.
- Serial Killer:
- Jason Hallow set fifteen people on fire before killing himself, a victim, and two FBI agents in a fiery explosion. When he encounters the protagonist in his house as wraith, he seems edger to continue, starting with them.
- Ash is all but stated to be this.
- Serial Rapist:
- The Sociopath:
- Ash is a lunatic who tortures, rapes, and murders with a smile on his face.
- Margaret is revealed to have shades of this. She is a callous Serial Rapist who refuses to take any responsibility for her actions.
