Val Avery (born Sebouh Der Abrahamian; July 14, 1924 – December 12, 2009) was an American actor. He was best known for The Anderson Tapes, Easy Money, and Donnie Brasco. He was also in the Production Posse of actor/filmmaker John Cassavetes.
Avery began acting as a youth with the Armenian Youth Federation and resumed after Air Force service in World War II. He was married to Margot Stevenson, an actress who mostly worked in theatre and radio. The couple had one child, sometime actress Margot Avery. He died of undisclosed causes at the age of 85.
