Mark Consuelos (born March 30, 1971 in Zaragoza, Spain) is an American actor.
Consuelos is best known for his role as Mateo Santos on the long-running ABC soap opera All My Children, whom he portrayed intermittently for fifteen years. While on the show, he became romantically involved with his onscreen love interest, actor and talk show host Kelly Ripa. They married in 1996, and share three children together.
After All My Children, Consuelos continued working steadily as an actor, primarily in television with projects like 1-800-Missing, American Horror Story: Cult, and Alpha House.
His career saw a resurgence in The New '10s, with him taking major supporting roles on network TV. He appeared on the 2016 FOX baseball drama Pitch as San Diego Padres manager Oscar Arguella. In 2017, he joined the cast of Riverdale, The CW's reimagining of the Archie Comics franchise, portraying Veronica Lodge's father Hiram.
