Marc Lawrence (born October 22, 1959) is an American film director, screenwriter and producer best known for making romantic comedies. Having gotten his start as a staff writer and supervising producer on Family Ties, he went on to write and sometimes direct movies. In the 90s, he also created two short-lived sitcoms, Monty (1994) and Pride & Joy.
Not to be confused with the actor of the same name.
