Leslie Odom Jr. (August 6, 1981) is an American actor and singer best known for Hamilton, Smash, and One Night in Miami....

Odom earned universal acclaim for his portrayal of Deuteragonist and eventual Big Bad Aaron Burr in Hamilton. His subtle performance, smooth tenor voice, and skillful dancing caused many to say he stole the show, and won him the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical.

Odom experienced further success when he portrayed "King of Soul" Sam Cooke in One Night in Miami.... His portrayal earned him multiple accolades, including an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor. He also co-wrote the song "Speak Now" with Sam Ashworth for the film, bringing him additional awards love, such as an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song.

He is married to fellow actor Nicolette Robinson, and they have one child.
