Caroline Louise “Carrie” Snodgress (October 27, 1945 – April 1, 2004) was an American actress. She was best known for The Fury, Pale Rider, and White Man's Burden.

Snodgress won acclaim early in her acting career for the film Diary Of A Mad Housewife, which also gained her an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress. Soon afterwards she retired from acting to care for Zeke, her son with Canadian-American musician Neil Young. She returned after a hiatus of several years. She and Young would continue to have an on-off relationship for years afterward. For a few years she was married to artist Robert Jones.

Snodgress died of heart and liver disease at the age of 59.
