Suzanne Marie Somers (née Mahoney; October 16, 1946 – October 15, 2023) was an American actress, author, singer, businesswoman, and health spokesperson best known for starring in the sitcoms Three's Company and Step by Step and for appearing in the films American Graffiti and Serial Mom.

She was married to Bruce Somers and had one child with him, and then later married to producer/host of Anniversary Game Alan Hamel. Her granddaughter is actress Camelia Somers.

Somers was also an entrepreneur, specializing in health and beauty products, and has has drawn some controversy for her embrace of homeopathic medicine.

Somers died on October 15, 2023, a day shy of her 77th birthday, after an over 20-year battle with breast cancer.
