Notable Mew Mews
Mew Guardian
A seeming goddess among Mew Mews. She helps the main characters find the rest of the Mew Mews of the world so that they can defeat the Spider God.- Deadpan Snarker: At least towards Lettuce's cooking.
- Ermine Cape Effect: Wears a crown and fancy necklace.
- Expy: of Princess Celestia from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.
- God of Good: She seems to be a Mew Mew Goddess.
- Gold and White Are Divine: Her outfit colors are pretty much entirely gold and white.
- Tarot Motifs: The cards she uses to pick who's going to what country. Apparently it's not their choice who goes or where they go.
Mew Scarab
One of the Egypt Mew Mews. The rest of them were once corrupted by possibly Ryou, and she hypnotized them to essentially be mindless drones once they tried to poison the town. After they are brought back to normal, they all go with Tokyo Mew Mew, but Mew Scarab stays behind, saying that she needs to get revenge on the one who corrupted her friends.- Adorkable: She used to be.
- Adrenaline Makeover: she lost her braids in favor of just letting her hair down once she lost her friends.
- Astonishingly Appropriate Appearance: Being the leader of Egypt Mew Mew, she gets a pharaoh's hat and is decked out in gold. Made more appropriate by the fact that she was apparently supposed to be a pharaoh.
- Braids of Action: She used to have braids (and be much more shy) before her friends were corrupted.
- Break the Cutie: Losing her friends definitely hardened her up.
- Dark and Troubled Past: She wasn't allowed to have friends when she was younger.
- Expy: Some of her traits seem to be based off of Homura Akemi.
- Heartbroken Badass: She lost her friends due to brainwashing, but it turned out that one of them was more than a friend.
- Hero of Another Story: She sets off on her own to get revenge on what seems to be Ryou after the main characters help her Mew Mew team get back to normal.
- Hime Cut: Something close to it.
- Lonely Rich Kid: She didn't have friends until she met the other Egypt Mew Mews.
- Meganekko: She seems to have been one in the past.
- Set Right What Once Went Wrong: She wants revenge for what happened to her friends.
America's Mew Mews
America's Mew Mews consist of Mew Pumpkin Pie, Mew Banana Cake/Pie/Pudding/???, Mew Carrot Cake, Mew Orange, and Mew Orange Sherbet.
- Big Damn Heroes: They randomly burst into the story to tell Otachi that Sir Pouncealot is a demon, and then they all defeat him.
- Boyish Short Hair: Mew Orange Sherbet.
- Expy: Mew Carrot Cake appears to be one for Vocaloid's Gumi.
- Girlish Pigtails: Mew Banana (???).
- Implausible Hair Color: Despite most of the characters have technicolor hair, Mew Pumpkin Pie has multicolored hair.
- Messy Hair: Mew Orange Sherbet has short, messy hair.
- Plucky Girl: Mew Waterfall, especially if something involves Ciel.
- Technicolor Eyes: Mew Pumpkin Pie has blue and orange eyes.
Australia Mew Mew
One of the first teams seen, aside from America's Mew Mews. This team consists of Mew Koala, Mew Cactus, Mew Boomerang, Mew Crocodile, and Mew Didgeridoo.
- Curtains Match the Window: Mew Didgeridoo and Mew Koala both have blue eyes and blue hair.
- Girlish Pigtails: Mew Koala, Mew Didgeridoo, and Mew Boomerang.
China Mew Mew
China's Mew Mews consists of Mew Dumpling, Mew Lingg, Mew Gyoza, Mew Fan, Mew Kungfu, Mew Fried Rice, Mew Salad, Mew Jasmine, and Mew Noodle.
- Boyish Short Hair: Mew Lingg, Mew Fried Rice, and Mew Noodle.
- Curtains Match the Window: Mew Jasmine and Mew Noodle.
- Girlish Pigtails: Mew Fan and Mew Jasmine.
- Tomboyish Ponytail: Mew Kungfu and Mew Salad.
