The characters consist of seven victims and the white woman. Beware of spoilers!
The main character of the book which follows her point of view. She's blond girl with pastel blue clothes. Chasity wants nothing more than to leave the mansion alive.
- Action Survivor

Nicholas or Nick is a tall boy in formal clothing. He's perhaps the most levelheaded of the bunch and is always focused on getting out of there.
- Affably Evil: He is indeed the killer but remains cordial, at least towards Michael and Chasity.
- Anti-Villain: Grows into this by the end as he really does care about Michael and Chasity, even willing to kill his own mother for them.
- Conspicuous Gloves: They're actually used to hide his fingerprints.

- Would Hit a Girl: Or more accurately, would kill a girl.
Michael is a short guy with light brown hair and a striped shirt. He's perhaps the kindest of the bunch and gets along well with everyone.
- Action Survivor
- Beware the Nice Ones: Not even Nick, the Affably Evil Serial Killer, had the balls to kill Ven (perhaps justified because it's his mother, but still). It's Nice Guy Michael who does it.
- Easily Forgiven: By Chasity in the end. Justified because he killed an Asshole Victim.
- Morality Pet: To Nick along with Chasity.
- Nice Guy: The nicest in the entire cast.
- Sole Survivor: Of the boys.
- Sympathetic Murderer: His only kill was Ven. No need to guess why this applies to him.
- Villain Killer: He only kills the Big Bad but that's still a significant feat.
- Wham Line: I killed your mother.
- Would Hit a Girl: He was the one who killed the white woman.
Lydia is a girl with orange hair in a ponytail, a green crop top and light blue ripped jeans. She tried to lead everyone out but that didn't work out well for her.
- The Leader: Tried to be this. Then she died.
- Nice Girl: She seems to be this, at least.
- Sacrificial Lamb: The first one to die.
- Tomboy: One thing we can deduce from the way she dresses.
- We Hardly Knew Ye: Guess why.
Nadium or Nadi is a tall girl with long, dark green hair and pink flowy clothes. After the first murder, evidence appears to point to her as the killer, but she keeps denying it.
- Acquitted Too Late: Due to the nature of the Deadly Game the white woman is playing, Nadi falls victim to this.
- Cassandra Truth: She really wasn't the killer.
- Frame-Up: She insists the real killer is doing this to her. She's right.
- Nice Girl: Appears to be this.
- Red Herring: She was purposely set up as the killer to draw attention away from the real one.
Randall is a guy with black hair that's pushed to the side and a low red V-neck. He's the most hot-tempered of the bunch but still maintains some humanity in him.
- Fatal Flaw: His anger issues.
- Hair-Trigger Temper: His Fatal Flaw.
- Jerkass: Appears to be this but...
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: ...Later shows a softer side.
- Killed Offscreen: Unlike most deaths, we don't see his. When Chasity gets kidnapped by Nick, the white woman offers to show her Randall's body. Obviously, Chasity turns down her offer.
- Pet the Dog: His apology to Michael for losing it and hitting him with a potted plant.
- Would Hit a Girl: He pushes Chasity down the stairs when he finds out she voted for him.
Kayla is a short girl in all pink and has red hair. She doesn't appear too concerned about the circumstances and would rather focus on getting Nick's attention.
- Abhorrent Admirer: Nick says that he finds her annoying.
- Asshole Victim: Stands out as the only one to be this of the bunch, only rivaled by Randall and even he had more nice moments.
- Entitled to Have You: She acts very rude to Chasity because of this attitude towards Nick.
- Fiery Redhead: In the worst way possible.
- Jerkass: And how.

- Animal Metaphor: She uses mice to represent her victims.
- Asshole Victim: No one bats an eye when she gets killed by Michael. Not even her son Nick.
- Bad People Abuse Animals: More like outright kill them. The mice she uses as Animal Metaphor get stomped whenever one of her victims die.
- Big Bad: The puppeteer of the cast's suffering.
- Deadly Game: She's the one who organizes it.
- Evil Matriarch: The Big Bad and the mother of the killer Nick.
- Faux Affably Evil: She acts all giddy and addresses the victims affectionately, but her bouts of evil laughter and screeching say something else about her.
- Gender-Blender Name: Ven is mostly a boy's name, though there are a few who would say it's actually a girl's name.
- Ironic Name: Ven means "kindhearted and caring". Not exactly fitting for a Big Bad who's a kidnapper and a murderer-by-proxy, huh?
- Jerkass: Like you wouldn't believe it.
- Light Is Not Good: She dresses in all white but on the inside, she's clearly not.
- Non-Action Big Bad
- The Reveal: She's the mother of Nick, who's the murderer.
