VOCALOID3
Tone Rion
A Vocaloid for the third engine. Her brief backstory states that she is 16 years old and was born in 2095, she is good at singing and dancing. Rion performs on the "Dear Stage" (ディアステージ) located in future Akihabara set 100 years from the current. She has her own website and had eight demo songs (example here) before her release on 16 December 2011. She's designed by famous character designer Akio Watanabe, and Yukiko Horiguchi for her V4 redesign.
- Adaptation Dye-Job: While her hair is purple in her V3 design, in her V4 redesign she has pink hair.
- Animal Motifs: Rabbits. Her surname means "rabbit's sleep", and her V4 design has rabbits on her jacket. Her hairstyle also resembles rabbit ears drooping down.
- Blush Sticker: Can't miss em'.
- Cute Little Fangs: Practically a signature of Akio Watanabe characters.
- Early-Bird Cameo: Her existence had been hinted in the Vonama NicoVideo◊ before she's officially revealed to the public.
- Meido: Stylized after one.
- Moe: Her design invokes this, as she was intended for the Otaku demographic.
- Pointless Band-Aid: Again, a signature item of many Akio Watanabe characters.
- Rose-Haired Sweetie: In her redesign.
- Updated Re-release: She had a V4 update in 2017.
- Wingding Eyes: Purple heart-shaped reflections in her irises.
- You Don't Look Like You: Her V4 redesign looks like a completely different character compared to her V3 self. Unlike the original version, who has dark purple hair and eyes with Meido attire, she now has pink hair, blue eyes, and wearing more casual attire, and no longer has the Cute Little Fang.
