    Germán Martínez
Played by: Eduardo España
  • Insistent Terminology: Any time people say he is a doorman, he replies that he is the janitor.
  • The Slacker: Despite being the janitor and doorman, he doesn't to anything beyond the bare minimum, and even fritters his time away playing Pocarito (the series' equivalent of poker).

    Silvia Olvera
Played by: Mayrín Villanueva
  • Old Maid: She tries hard to escape this fate. She longs to get married to prove her independence to her parents.

    Luis San Román
Played by: Darío Ripoll
  • Berserk Button: He doesn't take kindly to having his bald head pointed out.
  • Only Sane Man: He is the most levelheaded of the neighbors in the series.

    Pedro Medina
Played by: Pablo Valentín
  • Hypocritical Humor: When he calls Frankie a "mantenido", not being aware he is one too.
  • Manchild: He passes the time playing video games, eating junk food and squandering the money Luis gives him for the rent, providing money for both their livelihood.

    Don Roque Balboa
Played by: Polo Ortín†

    The López Pérez family

As a Whole

  • Perpetual Poverty: They almost always have no money to afford beyond basic necessities, not helped by Magdalena's attempts to cover it up, be it by borrowing or even stealing luxurious goods and her husband Arturo's inability to stand up to her.

Magdalena López Pérez

Played by: Macaria
  • Mock Millionaire: She pretends to be from an affluent household and tries to cover up the fact she and her family are actually poor.
  • Ms. Red Ink: She is notorious for spending her husband Arturo's money just to get luxurious stuff.

Arturo López Pérez

Played by: Moisés Suárez
  • Catchphrase: "Como dice la chaviza" (As the youth says), when he tries to sound "cool"
  • Henpecked Husband: A mild example of this. While he's not beaten, he is always bossed around by his wife Magdalena.
  • Totally Radical: An In-Universe example, as he tries to play the "cool" and "hip" father.

Alejandra López Pérez

Played by: Danny Perea
The goth daughter of the López Pérez family.
  • Goth: Alejandra is a textbook example of a goth stereotype.
  • Like Mother, Unlike Daughter: Unlike her mother Magdalena, who tries to act respectable and classy despite her obvious poverty, she is a goth and doesn't care about her family's (nonexistent) image.

Marco López Pérez

Played by: Vadhir Derbez
  • Spoiled Brat: Despite coming from a poor family, he acts like a spoiled rich boy.

    The Rivers (Rios Ruiz) family

Pancho Rios (Frankie Rivers)

Played by: César Bono
  • Do Not Call Me "Paul": He doesn't take kindly to being called "Pancho" and insists on being called by his stage name.
  • Stage Dad: He is a washed-up actor who forces Benito to become an actor just like him.

Benito Rivers

Played by: Octavio Ocaña†
  • Dragged into Drag: Due to his father Frankie's tendency to jump at any casting for Benito regardless of his wishes or the actual requirements for the castings, he's occasionally forced into female roles such as La Chilindrina, Cleopatra, or Gloria Trevi.
  • Gag Nose: In later seasons, Germán addresses him with nicknames related to his nose.
  • Intergenerational Friendship: With Germán. However, this becomes less pronounced in later seasons.

Lorena Ruiz de Rios

Played by: Ana Bertha Espín
  • Abusive Mom: Like her husband Frankie, she forces Benito to be an actor.
  • Gossipy Hens: She is fond of gossiping about the other neighbors.
