The heroes

    Jeremy Princeton

Jeremy Princeton

Age: 23

Debut: Chapter 1

A Yehveh soldier, son of the resigned hero Benjamin Princeton.

  • Berserk Button: Don't compare Jeremy to his father, or he will be annoyed.
  • Overshadowed by Awesome: Jeremy lives in his father's shadow. Some of his comrades blackmail him to do their chores by threatening to reveal who Jeremy's father is since it would mean for him to struggle to find work in a long time.
Jeremy, ch.3: No matter where I go, my father's legacy overshadows me. It's frustrating.
  • Humble Hero: Jeremy is very humble, barely having any money to afford his food, and unlike his comrades, he's grateful for it.
  • Perpetually Broke: Jeremy's salary is very low, to the point he cannot afford a good meal. In chapter 2, he donates everything he has (2 pieces of coin), and in good christian faith, receives 10 times what he delivered a time later. He still has to work hard, though.

Abilities:

  • Aura Vision: Yehveh vision. It allows Jeremy to detect his enemies.
  • Healing Hands: While not a professional medic, Jeremy can use Yehveh heal to stabilize wounds. He however cannot heal those who kill themselves.
  • Spontaneous Weapon Creation: Jeremy can create a sword made from Yehveh's energy like all soldiers. He likewise can create daggers. These weapons are not made to kill, though, but to incapacitate, and they work to detect if someone works for Mamon or Yehveh. According to the soldiers, using these may provoke the Mamons to go berserk, but these are rare ocassions.

    Mosa Zuberi

Mosa Zuberi

Age: 24

Debut: Chapter 1

A mysterious man that saved Jeremy and his squad from Mamon slaves, Mosa joined the Yehveh army for a work.

  • Ambiguously Brown: Mosa has African traits in his design. His counterpart in Edepth Angel is of African-ancestry.
  • The Aloner: Because of his prosthetic hands, only seen on Mamon individuals, alongside his mysterious past, he is not welcome among Yahveh's soldiers. In turn, Mosa prefers to be alone.
  • The Comically Serious: The humor of the comic comes from his deadpan delivery and seriousness. When Jeremy asks him for a hand, Mosa throws his prosthetic hand to him.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Mosa hides in an aura of mystery and snarky remarks.
  • Handicapped Badass: Mosa has metal hands because his real ones got chopped. He almost got metal legs too.
  • The Lancer: Due to his gratitude, Mosa follows Jeremy like a right-hand man, but they couldn't be any more different.
  • The Stoic: Mosa really doesn't show emotions besides sarcasm.
  • Walking Shirtless Scene: Outside the hood covering his face and his cape, Mosa goes shirtless.

Yehveh's army

    Benjamin Princeton

Benjamin Princeton

Debut: Chapter 3 (flashback)

There's a lot of prices to pay to be a hero, Jeremy.

Jeremy's father, and a former hero of Yehveh's army known for converting ten thousand Mamons in battle. He was fired from the army by General Faith in the past.

  • Broken Ace: Implied. Despite being a hero that defeated and converted ten thousand Mamon in battle, he told Jeremy "there was a price for heroism".
  • Disappeared Dad: The story is vague on Benjamin's fate. It is implied he died at some point in the past.
