Fleegle

Voiced by: Paul Winchell, Jeff Bergman (Web Premiere Toons), Keith Scott (2008 revival)

This beagle is the leader of The Banana Splits. He plays the guitar and often sings too. He does magic tricks, and he is the spokesman for the group. Cool, authoritative, and usually in control of every situation, Fleegle is always slightly frustrated by the behavior of the others. Although he's a born leader and organizer, he is not as bright as he thinks.

• Dogs Are Dumb: Inverted, as Fleegle is the smartest and most serious of the Banana Splits. He still gets into wacky events like the others, but he's the first to dial it back, and is often weary of the others.
• Jerk with a Heart of Gold: He can be bossy but still has a heart for The Splits.
• Only Sane Man: He tries to keeps The Splits' antics in check.

• The One Who Wears Shoes: He is the only Banana Splits member who wears shoes.
• Vitriolic Best Buds: With Bingo

Bingo

Voiced by: Daws Butler, Jeff Bergman (Web Premiere Toons), Keith Scott (2008 revival)

This gorilla plays the drums and often sings. He is simple and good-natured.

Drooper

Voiced by: Allan Melvin, Jeff Bergman (Web Premiere Toons), Unknown Voice Actor (2008 revival)

This lion is the bassist for The Banana Splits and often sings. He delights in fast-talking the others, especially Bingo, knowing that it confuses the big fellow. Drooper is the ultra-hip hippie of the Splits who is always on, always cool, and always trying to con someone.

Snorky

Voiced by: N/A

This voiceless elephant is the Banana Splits' keyboardist. He is always late, seldom does anything right, and gets blamed for absolutely everything, even when he's innocent.
