Jack Horner
Role: Prime Minister
Party: Progressive Conservative Party of Canadanote Parti progressiste-conservateur du Canada
Ideology: Prairie Populism
In-Game Biography Click to Show The towering heights of Ottawa, the mega-banks of Montreal, and the Parisian-inspired architecture of Québec City may beguile many. However, at its heart, Canada isn't about the urban elite or the polished bureaucrat - it's a land of farmers, laborers, and truckers. Jack Horner grasps this truth.
Alberta, often hailed as the last bastion of the "Wild West," molded Horner. Distinct from the tailored suits in Parliament, he opted for plain talk, earning him respect. Horner imbibed life’s hard lessons, such as the wisdom of not testing a mare's patience, and applied this raw knowledge to politics, keeping a firm hand on the reins and a clear vision forward.
With the astounding majority garnered under Prime Minister Claude Wagner, Horner ascended to the cabinet. He epitomized the quintessential countryman - an ally of farmers, a champion of free enterprise, and a straight-shooter amidst a room of schemers. In the West, the cradle of Conservative identity, these values bolstered his party stature. Affectionately dubbed one of "Diefenbaker's Cowboys," Horner, akin to the outlaws of yore, drew both friends and foes. His resolute honesty and unwavering stance marked him as a maverick, both within and outside party lines. Following Claude Wagner’s demise, those who revered Wagner gravitated towards Horner, seeking continuity and unity.
However, his strategic alliance with the Social Credit Party of Québec birthed an unorthodox political tie—one that might've bolstered Horner's standing, but not without its perils. As his tenure progressed, the once-proclaimed "Man of the People" seemingly sowed division within his own ranks. Allegations of favoritism, political machinations, and disputes with both party wings left Horner and his crew isolated, struggling to control a beast that’s transformed from a docile donkey to a wild stallion.
Now, as the truths Horner pledged to unveil ripple through the corridors of Parliament, his leadership will face its crucible. Old Westerns conclude in one of two ways: a valiant hero riding off into the sunset or a fallen cowboy, distinguishable in the mire only by the glint of his buckles.

George Hees
Role: Prime Minister
Party: Vanguard Tories
Ideology: Paternalistic Conservatism
In-Game Biography Click to Show Some men in life are meant for stardom. George Hees knew this as a young man, dazzlingly handsome, suave and sophisticated, the young star of the city of Toronto would blaze through Port Hope and Toronto Universities with a keen spirit and vivid mind. Going onto graduate from Cambridge, the beauty of the British Isles would captivate the young man, which much to his dismay would turn to horror when the Operation Sealion would sweep them out from under him.
Part of the American Evacuation Attempt in the Second World War, the brutalistic horrors of the campaign would have Hees leading disparate bands of Highland soldiers into hopeless charges, something that would stick with the young man, alongside the shame of knowing he could've done more, and should of. Resolving to make a change elsewhere, he soon found himself a home as a Canadian conservative.
Once regarded as the second most powerful man in the party, him and John Diefenbaker would build the foundations of the modern Tories from stone foundations. Though this relationship would prove mercurial, Hees would remain one of his fiercest supporters both throughout and after his premiership. It would be Hees himself who, among Horner and Wagner, would become the central voice of opposition to Robert Stanfield, who would eventually bend to the three.
Things were supposed to be different. Wagner, the stout, respected veteran, whom Hees had laid his dreams of a "True Blue Party", was gone. The mess Horner had made in his wake, unsalvageable. Now, in the twilight of his career, the role Hees once dreamed of became a mere postage stamp on the sale of the next election. Hees may be able to tie over the party's warring factions for now, but once his party chooses its destiny, whether for better or worse, the legacy of John Diefenbaker he fought so hard to preserve may crumble.
The Interim Prime Minister of Canada selected following the resignation of Jack Horner.
- We Hardly Knew Ye: Hees's rule as Prime Minister of Canada is cut shortly once the Conservative Party's grip on politics collapses.

Mexico
Official Name: United Mexican States
Ruling Party: Partido Revolucionario Institucionalnote Institutional Revolutionary Party
Ideology: Institutional Despotismnote Despotism
- Banana Republic: Mexico's official name would imply it's The Federation, but it's truthfully a one-party state dominated by the PRI. Any other legal candidate running in an election is a dummy set up by the PRI to keep up the illusion of being democratic.
Adolfo López Mateos
Role: Head of State
Party: Partido Revolucionario Institucionalnote Institutional Revolutionary Party
Ideology: Institutional Despotismnote Despotism
In-Game Biography Click to Show Adolfo López Mateos was either the child of a dentist and teacher in Mexico City or a bastard from Guatemala who faked his Mexican heritage to fulfill his political ambitions. The story is under dispute, with the later theory having special prominence amongst his detractors. However, the documents he provided in the only official inquest into this in 1946 evidentially was enough for him to be placed above suspicion. This minor speed bump did not stop his ascent from secretary to the State of Mexico's governor, to it's senator and president of the PRI, the main Mexican ruling party. From there, it was a mere matter of friendship and dutiful service to President Ruiz Cortines to place him as his successor, which guaranteed him an easy election not atypical for the PRI.
López Mateos' term was marked with a continuation of the economic success and stability of previous presidents overall. Land reform, the building of museums, expansion of healthcare and education, and the nationalization of the electrical industry were all major successes. And he was also able to keep Mexico in it's position between the Sphere and the OFN, which ended up serving Mexico well, and may even end up being recognized as the critical factor that prevented conflict between the two nations.
However, not all has been well. Relations with the PRI's Union support base have soured. And student groups collide with the government. Some are concerned the PRI is blindly running away from the policies that have been successful for Mexico. And now, Adolfo López Mateos must take all of this into account, in order to make his most critical decision: who will succeed him in the Presidency of Mexico?
- Internal Reformist: López Mateos' presidency was marked by various changes such as land reform, expansions of education and healthcare, and the nationalization of the electrical industry.

Jonathan Motzfeldt
Role: Head of State
Party: Siumutnote Forward
Ideology: Democratic Socialismnote Progressivism
In-Game Biography Click to Show They call him the Father of Greenland, among other epithets. But no grandiloquent designation of 'pater patriae' is needed to make clear that the young Reverend Jonathan Motzfeldt is a man with a rich background.
Far in the north, while wars raged and the old order fell apart, Motzfeldt finished his education at the teachers' school in Ilinniarfissuaq. Then he went south to Canada, to study theology and receive pastoral ordination—and there he saw not merely the Word of God but something more worldly: the political world that Greenland sorely lacked.
Working with Moses Olsen and Lars Emil-Johansen, the Siumut party successfully promoted home rule for Greenland—a pipe-dream a mere decade ago. The first elections brought victory for the Siumut, and the promise of a humane democratic socialism with greater autonomy for Greenland and increased US support for the arctic island.
There may be difficulties, and Motzfeldt must take heed to his own big personality lest he sideline other vital figures in Siumut—but as it stands, Greenland is free, and shall remain so, no matter what others might have to say about it.
- Founder of the Kingdom: He is widely acknowledged as the Father of Greenland, having advocated its independence a decade before it was officially attained.

George Cadle Price
Role: Head of State, Economy Minister (Price cabinet)
Party: People's United Party
Ideology: Christian Progressivismnote Progressivism
In-Game Biography Click to Show As one head falls, two more take its place. That lesson agonisingly carves itself into the raw face of George Cadie Price's nation. Many in Belize hoped that the fall of the British Empire to the unflinching iron storm of Hitler's Blitzkrieg would herald the final emancipation of its inhabitants from the master's whip of Imperialism - an illusion ended by the animalistic jerking of a putrefying corpse. Canada, fat with refugees fleeing the chaos of Europe, has decided to force itself upon Belize where it claims to administer in the name of the Queen.
Perhaps the greatest insult is their strict adherence to God - claiming that their Monarch is divinely ordained, as opposed to the false prophets in blasphemous courts. They demand Belize look them in the eye and swear that this century-long torture is sacrosanct. They enslave Belize and call it justified. They believe that Belize is better off in chains. Would He allow Ramses to crush the Jews if they were "better off"?
No. Belize must, can and should carve its destiny, not burdened by its past but hopeful for its future. Under Price, Independence will not be easy, fulfilling or peaceful. But it will be honest. To a nation lied to for its entire life, what is more precious than truth?
- Real Men Love Jesus: Price is a devout Christian that fights for Belize to throw off the chains of a decaying monarchy.
