* DarkandTroubledPast: It's revealed that [[spoiler: Dr. Robotnik]] actually attempted to turn Ky into a robot when he was very young, akin to the Sonic comics, but was deemed a failure and Ky later escaped. His parents, according to Ky, remained turned into robots, although it's possible they could be dead. Subverted in that despite all this, however, Ky has a positive outlook on life and never seems saddened, upset or depressed whatsoever.
