Commanders:

    General Grievous - Sinister Cyborg
A cyborg commander who wields the Lightsabers from Jedi he has defeated in battle.
  • Battle Trophy: His weapons are even called Trophy Lightsabers
  • Dirty Coward: As a nod to his Combat Pragmatist nature, his biggest weakness is his low Courage value, which is just 2.
  • Gun And Sword: He can take a pistol and he can fire it in melee. He can even fire at a different target from his lightsaber.
  • Herd-Hitting Attack: "Trained in your Jedi Arts" allows him to hit any number of targets close to him.
  • Hero Killer: One of his keywords is "Jedi Killer", which grants him a surge to critical when fighting a Jedi character (here defined as anyone with a Force upgrade slot).
  • Lightning Bruiser: Fast, tough, and hard hitting.
  • Unskilled, but Strong: Is a lightsaber user, but lacks many trademark Jedi traits such as force upgrades (meaning he is immune to "Jedi Killer") and an immunity to pierce, plus he has "Block" instead of "Deflect". He makes up for it with good agility and easy access to a ranged weapon, something Jedi often lack.

    Count Dooku - Darth Tyranus
Head of State of the Separatist Alliance, and a powerful Sith Lord.
  • The Ace: At 205 points he is the second most expensive unit in the game, but makes up for that by being one of the most well-rounded and effective Jedi characters. Notably, his "Makashi Mastery" ability lets him cancel Pierce immunities, making him an effective Jedi counter.
  • Authority Equals Asskicking: Is the highest ranking member of the separatists other than Darth Sidious and is also one of the strongest units in the game.
  • The Chessmaster: He has the Cunning Keyword, Which means he automatically wins ties on command cards. His own Command Cards revolve around ruining the enemy plan.
  • Evil Oldfolks: One of the oldest characters in the game, second only to Darth Sidious. He is too old to move quickly and lacks built-in charge, although a command card can briefly grant him relentless.
  • Meme Acknowledgement: His command cards "Twice the Fall" and "You Disappoint Me" are some of his most iconic quotes from the movies.

T-Series Tactical Droid - Programmed For Strategy

    Super Tactical Droid
The Super Tactical Droids represent a major advance in artificial intelligence over their more ubiquitous Tactical Droid counterparts, with each unit bringing a sense of individualism to their decision making.

The Super Tactical Droid can be taken as a generic commander, or as one of two named commanders: Kalani and Kraken.

  • Close-Range Combatant: Kraken, thanks to possessing "Charge" and a surprisingly powerful melee attack ("Overwhelm", featuring four red dice and "Lethal"), can be quite potent if you can close the gap.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Much stiffer in a fight than the standard Tactical Droid, and more keywords.

Operatives:

    Darth Maul - Impatient Apprentice
The first Sith apprentice of Darth Sidious. He can be accompanied to battle by a trio of DRK-1 Sith Probe Droids.
  • Cast From Hitpoints: "At Last" wounds him, but triggers "Juyo Mastery" and gives himself tokens.
  • Hero Killer: The command cards "Duel of the Fates" and "At Last" are both designed to enable Maul to get the jump on high value targets and wipe them out.
  • Obvious Rule Patch: "Juyo Mastery" specifies that you can still only use two move actions per-turn.
  • Mook Maker: He can bring probe droids with him, if he desires.
  • Turns Red: "Juyo Mastery" lets him perform three actions per-turn when he's wounded. The "At Last" command card lets him wound himself to activate this bonus.
  • Weak, but Skilled: He has no the ability to land double attacks like Luke or Vader and his attack pool, though large, has a lot of white dice in it, the weakest type. He also does not have "Mastery of the force" and so cannot spam force abilities as often as others. He does have the very versatile "Juyo Mastery" which allows for more things to do with his actions, and his command cards all give him keywords like "Disengage" that allow him to escape from unfavorable encounters.

Corps:

    B 1 Battle Droids
Legions of these disposable battle droids made up the bulk of Separatist armies. Unintelligent, they depend on strict orders to carry out tasks; they will default to attacking first during an activation otherwise. To help them receive orders, droids have the ability to give an order to another nearby droid after receiving one themselves. They cost 36 points for a squad of 6 droids, and can be supplemented with an E-5C Blaster for improved firepower, or an E-60R rocket launcher.

Their upgrade expansion offers additional heavy weapons in the form of the Radiation Cannon for a poisoning short-range attack, or the E-5s to provide a sniper.

    B 2 Super Battle Droids
The Super Battle Droid was designed to complement the ubiquity of the B1 model with improved firepower and strength.
  • Close-Range Combatant: The B2-ACM variant, available as a heavy weapon option, gives them three red dice at close range. The standard B2 also fits, having less range and more power than the B1.
  • Elite Mook: They only come in a squad of 3, compared to 6 for the B1, but are more durable and pack a lot more punch.
  • Heavily Armored Mook: the Armor 1 keyword means they can shrug off Scratch Damage fairly well.

Special Forces:

    BX-Series Droid Commandos
While much of the droid army is built to be disposable, the BX-Series was designed for espionage. The Droid Commandos can be deployed as a full squad, or as a two-droid strike team.
  • Close-Range Combatant: Can be given Vibroswords, which allow them to charge enemies and take them out at close range.
  • Cold Sniper: Get a Droid Sniper as a heavy weapon upgrade.
  • Demolitions Expert: Alternatively, they can bring a Dioxis Mine Saboteur to lay poisonous explosive charges on the battlefield.
  • Ridiculously Human Robots: They are designed to impersonate humans if necessary, and so they move far more naturally than a regular Separatist droid. This is reflected by their miniatures; compared to the rigid poses of B1 and B2 Battle Droids, the BX-Series look far more fluid and weighty.
  • Shield-Bearing Mook: Can equip Deflector Shields, which not only give the squad extra protection but can be recharged instantly by taking a recover action.

    IG- 100 Magna Guards
The MangaGuards are a specialist model of droid intended to protect the Separatist leadership.

Support:

    Droidekas
A self-sufficient pair of droids designed to complement their swift speed with a high rate of fire.
  • Deflector Shields: In their standard stance.
  • Stance System: Can switch between Wheel Mode and their normal posture. In Wheel Mode, they cannot attack, while their shields deactivate and cannot recharge. In return, their speed massively increases and they gain automatic heavy cover.
  • Stone Wall: When in their regular stance.

    DSD 1 Dwarf Spider Droid

    STAP Riders
  • Airborne Mook: The lowly B1, but now on a speeder
  • Fragile Speedster: Is one of the zippiest units you have, but still has the lackluster defence of the B1 riding it.

Heavy:

    AAT Trade Federation Battle Tank
  • Attack Its Weakpoint: Has Weakpoint at it's rear, and it takes more damage from it than most other units with Weakpoint
  • Mighty Glacier: It's ponderous at a mere speed 1, but has some of the best defensive and offensive stats in the game.
  • Tank Goodness: It's a hover tank, with all the heavy firepower and armor that entails.

    NR-N 99 Persuader-Class Tank Droid
