    Recurring Characters 

Ize

  • Arch-Enemy: To Starkiller, being his most prominent rival during all of the civilization events, having usurped him twice and attempted to defeat his faction once.
  • Appeal to Force: His general political strategy: demonstrate his combat prowess with the help of other notable PvPers - such as the Jungle army in the first event -, then use that to intimidate his opposition and/or convince the populace to support him.
    • Notably downplayed during the fourth event, as, despite the Cretaceous fearing that he would try to Usurp them again, Ize instead used his previous reputation to get himself peacefully elected instead, without any murders involved.
  • Attack! Attack! Attack!: His general combat strategy: Attack the enemies as agressively as possible, making sure that you take them by suprise before they can prepare a defense. Worked on Snow, the Giants, and the Triassic; but failed against the Desert and especially the Dwarves.
  • The Dreaded: By the fourth event, his in-universe reputation had grown due to his brutal yet effective leadership in the past events, causing everyone on his team (the Cretaceous) to fear him taking power by force. Fortunately, he chose to get peacefully elected this time instead.
  • Spanner in the Works: Ize has an amazing tendency to ruin the plans of anyone plotting against him and his interests. Two times he evaded an assassination attempt based on sheer coincidence and his teams have avoided several traps set to kill them overall:
    • When Seawatt and several other giants plotted to assassinate him during the medieval experiment by having him sit on a throne with a trapdoor built into it, Ize refused to accept the throne at all because he was too angry at the rest of the giants' poor organization to bother with accepting their gift, quickly realizing that it was also a trap. He then went through with his own plot to assassinate Seawatt instead, escaping to his Elvish friends to help pull of a Coup.
    • During the Zombie Island experiment, he discovered the "anti-cure" scientists' plot by the fact that they had set up in his house without knowing it, having claimed that they had stored some extra antidote dripstones in there. Since Ize had built this house, he knew that they must have deliberately placed them there, if they existed at all, and so immediately realized that it was a trap, alerting the rest of the team about the plot.
  • The Usurper: Helped usurp Starkiller 2 times, taking over the leadership position the first time and letting his close ally Invictable rule the second time.

  • Big Bad Wannabe: Despite managing to take over the Triassic alongside his Mafia in the fourth event, Ize quickly proved himself to be way more of a threat than his faction in every conceivable way by Curb-Stomping his faction into the sand via a sneak attack in the middle of Seawatt's coronation ceremony, killing him in the process.

Jungle

Snow

  • Curb Stomp Cushion: After getting ambushed by the entirety of Ize's Jungle army, the Snow state quickly lost all cohesion and was picked off one by one, with nobody managing to get a kill until Seup got the jump on a lone jungle member. However, 6 people managed to survive, including Seup, and Seup's kill alerted the Desert of Ize's incoming attack, allowing them to prepare accordingly.
  • Sacrificial Lion: Their deaths at the hands of Ize's jungle army, despite otherwise doing okay with the various other events that had occured to them (like their discovery of the Dwarven fortress, their relatively successful raid on the snow temple, and building an average town to live in), quickly showcased both the deadliness of Ize's army and the escalating tensions on the server.

    "I Made 100 Players Simulate Medieval Civilization in Minecraft..." 

Elves

  • Long-Range Fighter: Most of the Elves' combat bonuses were based around ranged weapons, namely bows and powerful magic, while the close range combat bonuses were primarily given to the giants and the Dwarves.
  • Our Elves Are Different: As a player faction, the elves, in exchange for having only standard health and height and being vegetarian only, were the only faction to have access to magic while using bows and arrows better than anyone else.

Dwarves

  • Our Dwarves Are Different: As a player faction, the dwarves, in exchange for spawning in a biome that couldn't grow food, had additional mining prowess, the ability to eat coal and iron ore in addition to normal food, the ability to use their pickaxes as weapons, and were only 1 block tall, allowing them to easily live underground instead of on the surface.
  • Defensive Feint Trap: After being driven from their main settlement by the combined elf and giant army, the dwarves, realizing that they held the Home Field Advantage due to their smaller size and better pickaxes making them mine faster than their enemies, decided to bait the elves and giants underground to split them up and pick them off one by one while their opponents were mining to attack them. Many of the elves and giants fell for this trick until only their elite soldiers remained, whom the dwarves promptly also split up and destroyed as well, winning the Final Battle.

Giants

  • Divided We Fall: The giants were constantly uncoordinated during the entire event, refusing to collaborate on most of their builds, not building much even when asked, constantly sabotaging each other and the team, constantly plotting to assassinate each other (like Seawatt against Ize, Ize against Seawatt, and several electoral candidates against each other), being divided and uncoordinated in their attempt to secure the Treasure Room, and, finally, not putting up much of a coordinated defense when attacked by the Elves.
  • Our Giants Are Bigger: As a player faction, in exchange for being carnivorous and being unable to swim or boat across water, the giants had increased strength, health, and movement speed, which meant that they were more powerful in close quarters combat.
  • Super Drowning Skills: One of their primary weaknesses was that they could not swim or even boat across normal water, putting them at risk of drowning if they fell in a sufficiently deep pool. Fortunately, this also allowed them to search for ores underwater more easily, while shallower bodies of water, due to their increased height, didn't pose a threat at all.

Scientists

The Anti-Cure Scientists

  • The Con: Instead of genuinely believing in the conspiracy theory below, the Anti-Cure scientists were actually using it as a tool to gain a monopoly on the cure so that they could profit off of it via a Poison and Cure Gambit.
  • Conspiracy Theorist: Using SpeedSilver's joke insinuations as evidence, the Anti-Cure scientists spread a conspiracy theory that the cure had actual side effects, doing things like poisoning their own members to make it seem more legitimate. They successfully goaded the scientists into destroying half of the antidote dripstones, but secretly pocketed two for their own plan later.
  • Enemy Mine: After being discovered by the other scientists, they were forced to flee to the Survivors' island and seek refuge with them, allying with them to ensure their own safety. In exchange, the Anti-cure scientists gave them crucial info about important objectives, including the location and existence of both the antidote dripstones and the beacon materials to call reinforcements in, while helping the Survivors greatly in combat.
  • Exactly What It Says on the Tin: Scientists who opposed using the antidote, duh.
  • Heel–Face Turn: After being discovered, they were forced to flee to the Survivors' island, forcing them to ally with the Survivors' to ensure their continued survival. While they continued to use underhanded tactics afterwards (and continued to work against their original team), they were now working for the survivors instead of just for themselves.
  • Poison and Cure Gambit: Their plan after setting up their conspiracy theory. As the scientists raided and destroyed the antidote dripstones for them, they were able to safely steal two of them under their noses, giving them a monopoly on the antidote source. They then lured players into an abandoned house with promises of more dripstones, and then killed them to increase the demand for the antidote. Unfortunately, they chose the wrong location for their plan, and so were eventually discovered and driven out of the scientists' side of the island.

Survivors

  • The Strategist: Responsible for planning out and leading the attack on the scientists' base in order to obtain the antidote dripstones, using misdirection and aerial attacks to succeed in their mission and bamboozle the scientists.
  • Sacrificial Lion: Considering how crucial he was in the survivors winning their last engagement, him dying during the final battle signified how tough it was going to be for the survivors to steal the beacon materials from the sceintists' lab.

    "I Made 100 Players Simulate Civilization in Jurassic Minecraft..." 

Triassic

  • Thirsty Desert: Just like in real life, the Triassic island consisted of a large, barren desert biome with mesas rising out of the distance, with a few oases dotted around the place. As a result, the people living there there found out that, for the most part, there were no plants or food that they could grow. Thus, some players resorted to immediately attacking the dinosaurs present on the island, which was a bad idea, as the dinosaurs proved very hardy and strong. This led to several deaths before they managed to discover a moss-stone covered dead dinosaur skull filled with water, at which point they settled down using the bone blocks that made up the skull to begin farming food for their team.
