Honan Stride Club

Once a Stride powerhouse 2 years ago, now having to re-establish the club due to dissent and retirements from the former 3rd year students. Because of this, many rival schools found the school to be violent. Honan's Stride Club is so small that all members automatically enter into the Shogi club as well since each club must have at least three members.

The school's stride club members are also part of an idol group: Galaxy Standard, and have their idol practices after stride club activities. The current group is in its eighth incarnation. The Saisei Stride Team is acknowledged as being one of the strongest teams in Eastern Japan. In the game, they finished second place in EOS'16, having lost to Tsubakimichi High School. In EOS'17 they finished third or fourth.

A high school located in the Saitama Prefecture. The school is famous for raising giant carp streamers during Boy's Festival Day, because Saitama is the No.1 manufacturer of carp streamers in Japan. The team is on average a lot taller and stronger than Honan.

Kakyoin Stride Club

The Stride Club is the most diverse in the group, in the sense that almost all members have lived overseas. The team was completely reshuffled since last year, and even the end of Trial Tour, with Nanpei Aoba as the only returning member from last year. The new lineup annihilated the course record for Sapporo Dome Time Trial, securing the No.1 seed. Because almost all runners are considered experienced and skilled Stride runners, as a team, they tend to deliberately run close to the opponents to size them up before accelerating away to the takeover zone or goal.
