Power Rangers
The main group of the series. General
The group chosen by the Elemental Gems to wield their power and protect the world as the Element Fury Power Rangers.
- Elemental Powers: All obtain the ability to use elemental magic. As of now, they are Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, and Lightning. The missing Elemental Gems, the Silver and Gold Gems, will grant the next two rangers the powers of Steel and Light, though how those powers will manifest has yet to be seen.
- Legacy Character: They are actually the second incarnation of the Element Fury Rangers. The first version was wiped out long ago during their Final Battle against The King of Shadows, with Clover the Clever being the Sole Survivor, but critically injured.
Flash Sentry
The Red Ranger, chosen by the Element of Courage.
- Be Yourself: He learns that he shouldn't worry about what other people think of his abilities as Red Ranger, or try to live up to any previous Red Rangers, because he can be his own Ranger. Especially since he was already worthy enough for the Element of Courage to choose him in the first place.
- Red Is Heroic: Comes with the territory of being the Red Ranger.
- Playing with Fire: Gains Fire Magic after bonding to the Element of Courage. Makes sense since it's also known as The Elemental Gem of Fire.
Sci-Twi
The Blue Ranger, chosen by the Element of Knowledge.
- Making a Splash: Gains Water Magic after bonding to the Element of Knowledge. Makes sense since it's also known as The Elemental Gem of Water.
Soarin Skies
The Green Ranger, chosen by the Element of Determination.
- Big Eater: Soarin has got a big appetite. In the first chapter, he orders a quintuple burger with extra fries and two large chocolate milkshakes at Sugarcube Corner, and shortly after getting them Flash notes he has already made a dent in his burger and fries and completely finished one milkshake. Clover the Clever later says his predecessor had the same appetite, suggesting it is a common trait shared by all Wind Mages.
- Blow You Away: Gains Wind Magic after bonding to the Element of Determination. Makes sense since it's also known as The Elemental Gem of Wind.
- Pungeon Master: Soarin likes joking a lot, but he especially likes making puns, to the annoyance of his friends.Soarin: Don't doubt me guys, I know for a fact that I'm very, pun-ny.
(Everyone else groans in annoyance)
Tempest: (after slamming her head on the table) Goddamnit Soarin.
Thorax Beetles
The Yellow Ranger, chosen by the Element of Strength.
- Dishing Out Dirt: Gains Earth Magic after bonding to the Element of Strength. Makes sense since it's also known as The Elemental Gem of Earth.
Tempest Shadow
The Pink Ranger, chosen by the Element of Faith.
- Shock and Awe: Gains Lightning Magic after bonding to the Element of Faith. Makes sense since it's also known as The Elemental Gem of Lightning.
- You Don't Look Like You: In-universe example. A few people on the Morphin Blog have noted that her suit color is a darker shade of pink than any of the previous Pink Rangers, bordering on being Magenta.
Allies
Friends of the Rangers who know their secret and support them through the series. Sunset Shimmer
A Friend of The Rainbooms at CHS. The Rangers helped her search for her missing friends, and she witnessed them gain their Elements.
- It's All My Fault: Blames herself for the condition the Rainbooms are in, since they only really became a threat to the King of Shadows after they got their magic to defeat her during the events of My Little Pony: Equestria Girls.
Clover the Clever
The previous Blue Ranger and the Sole Survivor of the previous team. She now acts as a mentor to the new Rangers.

The King of Shadows
The main antagonist of the series, who desires the Elemental Gems and seeks to destroy the Rangers to obtain them.
- Big Bad: He's the leader of the evil faction this team of Rangers face. He's also a remorseless monster who killed six of the 1st Generation of Element Fury Power Rangers, critically wounded Clover while she blasted him into the Dimension of Darkness, and is now sending monsters into the Human World to collect fear to fuel his army and build himself a new body.
Nevermore
A humanoid raven creature and the main enforcer of The King of Shadows.
- The Dragon: He is the King of Shadows second in command and right hand man for carrying out attacks.
- Eye Beam: After losing his original left eye to Flash, he gets a new one from Blast Radius that shoots a laser strong enough to cut through solid stone.
Blast Radius
A dark wizard from another world with an obsession with explosion spells, and serves as the main scientist for The King of Shadows.
Monsters
Pawns
The main foot soldiers of the King of Shadows.
- Mooks: The weakest of the evil forces, generally easy for the Rangers to take down.
Skullossus
The first monster the Power Rangers fought.
- Dem Bones: Has no skin, no muscles, no organs, nothing but his skeletal structure. And yet is somehow still able to walk, talk, fight, and send a Ranger flying with a single punch.
- Playing with Fire: Capable of using Fire Magic, but it's very basic. Usually just fireballs of various sizes.
- Starter Villain: The first monster the new Element Fury Rangers officially face together.
Razor
Golem
A monster that is in charge of creating Pawns for the King's army.
- Mook Maker: His whole job is to create Pawns for The King of Shadows.
- Intelligible Unintelligible: He speaks with a sound that is something like rocks clicking together and beeps, but Blast Radius and Nevermore understand him perfectly.
Serpentra
A snake-like monster known for her treachery and untrustworthiness.
- Chronic Backstabbing Disorder: She is well known for her constant treachery. She is actually given a Restraining Bolt as insurance, should she even attempt to betray the King.
- Snakes Are Sinister: A snake-like monster who is absolutely vicious and nasty. Even other monsters dislike her for her reputation of backstabbing others.
- Restraining Bolt: She is given one by The King of Shadows, taking the form of a purple snake tattoo called the Agony Matrix. The King of Shadows can activate it at any time with just a thought and activate all of the pain receptors in her body.
Magma Sphera
A lava monster the Rangers fight.
- Death by Irony: Despite being made of lava, one of the hottest things ever, he is destroyed for good when the Megazord uses a new fire-based weapon, the Blazefire Saber, against him.
