    Jared

Jared "Papa" Sauce

some caption text

The main playable protagonist and founder of Papa's Pizzeria. He is an extremely well-built dog who takes his pizza very seriously. He's on a mission to make the anti-pizza cult pay for destroying his restaurant.

  • Bad Boss: Downplayed towards Wendy, but definitely played straight towards Dwight. While it's perfectly fine if he doesn't accept Wendy's advances (even if he is a bit rude about it), he's a complete asshole towards Dwight for the crime of being socially awkward.
  • Hidden Depths: Underneath his muscles and aggressive demeanor, he's a fairly decent artist, and depending on player choice, can have a Hidden Heart of Gold.
  • Jerkass: He's generally pretty unpleasant and abrasive towards just about anyone he meets (and depending on player choice, he can be even worse), but he acts so cruel to Dwight, it's a wonder why he hasn't quit by now.
    • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: The player can have him make some altruistic choices on the behalves of friends and enemies alike.
  • Kick the Dog: Jared can be especially ruthless on his revenge quest, such as ignoring or even killing reformed enemies.
  • The Leader: Naturally, as the main protagonist. Justified concerning his starting team of himself, Wendy, and Dwight, as he is their boss.
  • Married to the Job: His pizzeria is his life. He does seem to take a liking to all of the female attention he gets (other than Wendy's) but it's explained in his backstory that he feels women he's had relationships with in the past just used him for money.
  • Mr. Fanservice: His toned, muscular body has caught the attention of people in and out of universe.
  • Pet the Dog: Pun aside, it is possible for Jared to do good deeds such as recruiting reformed enemies.
  • Serious Business: Pizza, and his pizzeria. He is not happy when the cult destroys it with a bomb.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: Take a wild guess. He does draw the line at sardine pizza, though.

    Wendy

Wendy Pegs

Appointed waitress and cashier of Papa's Pizzeria. She is a spunky young girl with a rather infamous reputation for being annoying. She has a huge crush on Jared that he doesn't seem to reciprocate at all, but she's immensely loyal to him regardless. She joins Jared's quest out of said loyalty, to follow in his footsteps, and to hopefully win his heart.

  • All Love Is Unrequited: She is madly in love with Jared, who just doesn't reciprocate at all. She's hoping that tagging along will eventually win him over.
  • Bespectacled Cutie: She's an adorable girl who wears big, round glasses that accentuate her cuteness.
  • Cat Girl: Despite being a dog, she has all of the looks and personality traits of a stereotypical catgirl, even including a huge cat smile.
  • The Heart: Between Jared's abrasiveness and Dwight's cynicism, Wendy seems to be the glue that holds them both together.
  • Improbable Weapon User: She uses a pizza peel as her starter weapon.
  • Jumped at the Call: She tags along with Jared without a second thought.
  • Motor Mouth: She uses this as her special ability. The player can have her "Nag" certain enemies to bore, annoy, or seduce them.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: California rolls. She doesn't even try branching out to other types of sushi.
  • Undying Loyalty: Towards Jared, which explains why she doesn't need any sort of coercion to join him on his journey.

    Dwight

Dwight Fielder

Delivery boy for Papa's Pizzeria and Jared's bitch. He clearly does not feel comfortable at work, especially with his boss breathing down his neck. He has tried working out, most likely to boost his self-esteem, but gave up rather easily. He joins Jared's revenge quest, mostly out of having nothing better to do.

  • The Chew Toy: To Jared. It's implied that he's often his boss' designated target for abuse and humiliation.
  • Expy: A painfully obvious one of Dwight Fairfield. Doubles as a Shout-Out.
  • Extreme Doormat: He's weak, and Jared knows this. He lets himself get pushed around because it's not like he can really do anything.
  • Improbable Weapon User: He uses pizza boxes in combat, which are surprisingly much more lethal than they have any right being. Papercuts?
  • Jumped at the Call: Downplayed. He only joins because he feels like he has nothing better to do with his free time.
  • Love Triangle: He might have feelings for Wendy, who is quite obviously smitten with Jared.
  • NEET: He would be this if he weren't employed. He's described as much preferring to be at home, comfortable, on his computer.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: Burgers, which would be ironic considering his place of employment if it didn't make complete sense.
