Characters from Mashin Sentai Kiramager The Movie: Bee-Bop Dream

    Nightmare Maestro Minjo

Portrayed by: Mitsu Dan (live), Yuki Miyazawa (suit)

One of the generals of the Yodonheim Empire, and Numajo's younger sister.

  • Big Bad: She serves as the main villain of the film.
  • Dark Is Evil: She's dressed in all black and is a part of Yodonheim.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: She first shows up in a flashback in #21 of the main series, before going on to make a full appearance in Bee-Bop Dream (which takes place between #23 and #24).
  • Fusion Dance: Performs one with the enlarged Remudon at the film's climax, by transforming into a Jamen and attaching herself to him.
  • Klingon Promotion: She attempts to kill Galza and claim his position as Yodonheim's top general.
  • Ms. Fanservice: Downplayed. Minjo has a much more scantily-clad outfit underneath her lacey overcoat, making her much more seductive than her fellow female generals, but it's not overt compared to previous Sentai female generals.
  • Nightmare Weaver: As her title implies, she is able to enter and manipulate the nightmares of her victims at will.
  • Palette Swap: She's essentially a red-and-black version of Numajo, same face and all. The only thing she lacks is her sister's boots and shawl - opting for all black instead barring her polka dot boots.
  • Perpetual Smiler: Like her sister, her mask is affixed with a malicious grin.
  • Red and Black and Evil All Over: Wears black clothing with a red mask.
  • Red Baron: She is known as the "Maestro of Nightmares".
  • Sibling Team: Formed one with Numajo before her sister's death.
  • Sinister Scythe: Wields one in combat.
  • Spanner in the Works: She only tosses out a single attack in #21 that barely staggers Oradin and then flees but it completely screws everything over long term because it gives Numajo the chance to rust the Aqua Stone, which means even though Oradin destroys her a second later they can't undo her curse leading to the loss of the Queen and Takamichi leaving on his treasure hunt to try to save Mabushina and not being there when the Yodon forces arrive.
  • Sword Beam: She can create crescent-shaped blades of energy with her scythe.
  • Token Human: Like Yodonna, she also has a human-like appearance underneath her mask. Whether her older sister also had a face under her mask isn't known.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: After her brief appearance in #21, Minjo is neither seen nor mentioned again in the main series. She appears in Bee-Bop Dream as the main villain, and again in the final episode of the main series in a flashback.

    Remudon

Portrayed by: Kazuhiro Nakaya (voice), Kenya Saito (suit)

A ram-themed monster affiliated with Minjo.
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/remudon_kiramager.png
  • The Dragon: He serves as Minjo's right hand.
  • Fusion Dance: Performs one with Minjo, after he is enlarged by Carantula.
  • Pokémon Speak: "Remu!", though he's capable of producing normal "ha-ha" laughter.
  • Power Fist: Wields ram head-shaped gauntlets that he can use for melee combat, or fire ram head-shaped energy blasts.

    The Dream Stone

Portrayed by: Megumi Ogata (voice)

The guardian of the dream realm of Yumeria.

Characters from Mashin Sentai Kiramager vs. Ryusoulger

    Movie Jamen

Portrayed by: Shunsuke Takeuchi (voice)

  • Despair Event Horizon: Yodonna broadcasting his movie before it's been completed sends him into despair over vision being tampered with, leading him to do a Fusion Dance with the Director Minosaurs as they grow large from his negative emotions.
  • Prima Donna Director: Downplayed. He's very particular with how he wants his movie to be, but while he abducted most of the actors he's rather polite with them when giving them directions and most of his frustration comes from Yodonna meddling with his production.
  • Punch-Clock Villain: He comes off less as a villain and more as a beleaguered artist working to complete his vision in the face of invoked Executive Meddling.

    Director Minosaurs

Portrayed by: Yuu Mizushima (voice)

A quartet of similar-looking Minosaurs born from Movie Jamen after Yodonna forces Kleon to spawn Minosaur monsters for her, based on his frustrations with Yodonna messing with his vision.
  • Brainwashed: Has the power to control people’s body.
  • Fusion Dance: All 4 combine with their progenitor to absorb his negative emotions and create one single Director Minusaur
  • Me's a Crowd: There are 4 Director Minusaurs, each with different “hairstyles”
  • Odd Name Out: One of two Minusaurs not based on a mythical creature.
  • One-Word Vocabulary: Averted unlike most Minosaurs. All 4 Director Minusaurs are capable of full conversation, apparently because being created from a Jamenshi made them more intelligent.

Characters from Mashin Sentai Kiramager Spin-Off: Yodonna

    Hern

Portrayed by: Hisao Egawa (voice)

A being who judges the departed souls of Yodonheim and decides whether to allow them into Yodon Heaven.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: He’s dark and scary-looking, but he’s not evil and is quite reasonable in his judgments.
  • Judgement of the Dead: What he gives, determining whether or not Yodon souls are worthy of entering into Yodon Heaven.
  • Poor Communication Kills: If either Yodonna or Mose had waited for him to finish speaking before doing anything, a lot of trouble could have been averted.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: He’s fair in his judgments and even agrees to let Yodonna come back to life if she learns one emotion.

    Mose

Portrayed by: Hiroshi Kamiya (voice)

A being whose duty is to obliterate the souls Hern judges as not worthy of going to Yodon Heaven with his staff.
  • Cessation of Existence: What he inflicts on those Hern judges not worthy of entering Yodon Heaven.
  • The Dragon: He’s effectively Hern’s bouncer.
  • Enemy Mine: Teams up with the Kuchinawa yakuza later on in order to bring Yodonna back to the Yodon afterlife.

    Datula

Portrayed by: Yasuhiro Takato (voice)

A Yodon scientist and fellow tribesman of Carantula.
  • Foil: He’s not in the plot for very long, but he looks to be one for Carantula, being a scientist while Carantula was a magician.
  • Small Role, Big Impact: He’s not in the special for very long, but he’s the one who gives Yodonna the means to revive.
  • We Hardly Knew Ye: Gets obliterated within the first few minutes of part one.

    Shosuke Kakihara

Portrayed by: Yosuke Kishi

An up and coming police detective and Mizuki’s older brother.

    Tetsu Enoshima

Portrayed by: Yu Kamio

A senior police detective and Shosuke’s mentor.
  • Actor Allusion: Mizuki and Yodonna should have known better than to trust someone played by Dr. Maki!
  • Broken Pedestal: Since he was her older brother’s mentor and someone he spoke quite highly of, Mizuki is naturally quite shocked to learn he’s The Mole for the Kuchinawas.
  • Cessation of Existence: Mose obliterated him when he gets in the way.
  • Dirty Cop: At some point he got in debt with the Kuchinawa gang and flipped to being a mole for them.
  • The Mole: Is really a spy for the Kuchinawa Yakuza.
  • Pyrrhic Victory: He technically succeeds in getting the phone with the evidence on it and wiping it. He’s just killed by Mose not long after.
  • Sixth Ranger: For the Kuchinawa Yakuza.

    Yanako Nishinoura

Portrayed by: Saori Izawa

A female bouncer for the Kuchinawa Yakuza.
  • Armed Legs: Her main weapon is the retractable knife in her shoes.
  • Badass Normal: While she doesn’t win, she puts up an impressive fight against Yodonna.
  • Bifauxnen: Her hairstyle and dress sense are more befitting of a boyband member.
  • Bodyguard Babes: Is a tough female bodyguard for the Kuchinawa gang.
  • Dark Action Girl: She’s tough and cold and probably the strongest fighter among the Kuchinawa gang.
  • The Dragon: She acts as both bodyguard and enforcer for the boss of the Kuchinawa yakuza.
  • Eyepatch of Power: After Mizuki/Yodonna scalds her left eye by mistake, she starts wearing an eyepatch over it to conceal the scars around it.
  • Kick Chick: She attacks mainly by kicking.
  • Villainous Underdog: Strong fighter she may be, there’s still quite a power difference between her and Yodonna.

    Shimasa

Portrayed by: Kentaro Shimazu

A street-level member of the Kuchinawa Yakuza.
  • Blood from the Mouth: Played for Laughs. Every time he gets beaten up he spits up blood, but he's somehow never really worse for wear afterwards.
  • The Brute: He mostly acts as expendable muscle for the Kuchinawa gang.
  • Groin Attack: Yodonna kicks him in the balls three times over the course of the special.
  • Mook Lieutenant: He seems to lead the lower level thugs in Kuchinawa.
  • Mugging the Monster: He tries to kidnap Mizuki, unaware she has Yodonna possessing her. This naturally leads to him and his goons getting quite the beat down.

    Zuo

Portrayed by: Koji Saikawa

A member of the Kuchinawa Yakuza who runs the maid cafe that’s a front for their organ harvesting operation.

    Ichigo Daifuku and Macaron

Portrayed by: Yume Nikaido and Moe Amatsuka

Two maids who harvest organs from unsuspecting patrons at the Kuchinawa gang’s maid cafe.
  • Cute and Psycho: Are always cute and cheery, even when they’re vivisecting an unsuspecting otaku to harvest his organs.
  • Dark Action Girl: They’re not as good fighters as Yanako, but they at least try to hold their own against Yodonna.
  • Neck Snap: Yodonna does this to Macaron in order to defeat her.
  • Ninja Maid: They're maid cafe employees who can fight.
  • Perky Female Minion: Though they’re less “perky” and more completely psychotic.

    Hideki Kujirasaki

Portrayed by: Hideo Ishiguro

The boss of the Kuchinawa Yakuza.
  • Actor Allusion: After he gets superpowers from getting hit by Yodonna's whip, his hair spikes up, giving him a strong resemblance to his role as Kai.
  • Big Bad: He’s the boss of the Kuchinawa yakuza and the one sending gangsters after Mizuki.
  • The Don: He’s a yakuza boss, making him the equivalent of a mafia don.
  • Non-Action Big Bad: He leaves the fighting to his subordinates. At least until Mose strikes him with Yodonna’s whip and gives him superpowers, at which point he opts to fight Yodonna himself.
  • Super Mob Boss: What he became after Mose struck him with Yodonna’s whip, becoming much stronger and gaining the power to fire energy balls.
  • Unfazed Everyman: He’s not all fazed by the sights of Yodonna or Mose. Then again, he does live in a world where Monster of the Week and kaiju attacks are pretty common.

    Miko (SPOILERS)

Portrayed by: Hinami Mori Tomoko Miyadera (as Hanidora), Yume Sakanashi (suit actress)

A teenage girl who serves as Yodonna’s newest host (and love interest). Is actually Hanidora, the Pope of the Yodonheim Religion, who seeks to revive their Emperor.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Miko spends much of the Special as a Nice Girl who manages to win over Yodonna. Hanidora is actually a religious fanatic bent solely on reviving her Emperor, and sees Yodonna as expendable.
  • Foreshadowing: The fact that Miko can see Yodonna as a ghost, whereas previously, she was invisible to living people is a major hint that she’s not human at all.
  • Honey Trap: Miko’s persona was invented to invoke this on Yodonna to revive her by helping her learn love.
  • Meaningful Name: Hanidora sounds very similar to “Honey Trap”, hinting at her eventual plan.
  • Walking Spoiler: There isn’t much about Miko we can say without also bringing up the truth about her.
