This is the page regarding Incubators featured.
Council of Nine
The leading body of the Incubator race, and the people who came up with the Law of Cycles to begin with.- Gold-Colored Superiority: His fur is colored gold and he is the King of the Incubators.
- Greater-Scope Villain: He's the one Kyubey answers to.
- Sanity Slippage: As the Law of Cycles begins to fall apart, Ichibey begins to gain emotions and rage.
Ichibey's right hand Incubator, is very cynical and nihilistic, firmly believing that even the Law of Cycles might not be enough to prevent entropy. His fur is colored silver.
- The Dragon: To Ichibey.
- The Fashionista: Well, he does design the costumes.
Shibey is the sole female Incubator amid the Council, and as such, is in charge of monitoring emotional energy outputs. Her fur is colored pink.
- That Makes Me Feel Angry: She doesn’t take very politely to Seinaru’s actions.
- Pink Means Feminine: She's the only female Incubator, and of course her fur is pink.
- The Smurfette Principle: The sole female Incubator in the Council of Nine.
- Everyone Has Standards: As noted, he felt that nuclear arms were a step too far. After all, you can’t make contracts with humans if they go extinct. This was particularly why he encouraged Kyubey to have Sadako Sasaki disable all nuclear warheads with her wish.
- Been There, Shaped History: Downplayed. He was observing the battles, not taking part in them. This list includes such battles as Gettysburg, Waterloo, Normandy, and Stalingrad.
- The Empath: As stated, his role is to observe emotional states for potential clients.
- Evil Genius: He’s the one who comes up with each of the witches.
We all know who this is. Makes contracts with girls and turns them into witches.
- Big Bad: Downplayed. He’s still a villain, but he works for a higher power.
- Irony: The reason he went after girls for contracts in the original series was because he thought men wouldn't be emotionally vulnerable and unstable enough to fall into despair. Here, he meets such a man in Seinaru, a young boy who uses his wish to cure witches and disrupt the Law of Cycles.
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: As usual, his adherence to the contract causes everything to become undone. His decision to grant Seinaru's wish basically began to cause the entire Law of Cycles to unravel. Naturally, Ichibey calls him out for this.
Other Incubators
- Pragmatic Villainy: His job is help the Incubators find more races to form contracts with, so they don't rely entirely on humans.
His duty is just like Kyubey's but he's more of an experimenter, going for unconventional candidates for the sake of seeing who are applicable, such as burgeoning AI, someone who wants to be a mother, or be a fictional character, that sort of thing.
- For Science!: His motivation.
