A put-upon seamstress from a small town who finds herself at the centre of a plot involving a magic crystal.- Bespectacled Cutie
- Loser Protagonist: Colette starts the series as a single high school dropout who hates her boss and has no friends outside of her landlady.
- The Runaway: Escaped from boarding school when she was 15 years old and hasn't seen her family since.
- Spirited Young Lady: Highly independent and modeled after the classic Gibson Girl in illustrations.

Eisen Iyer
Played by: Taqi Nazeer
An artificer and former revolutionary who now works as a fence and smuggler.- Brave Scot: Eisen isn’t actually Scottish in-universe, of course, but the actor playing him keeps his natural accent to compliment Eisen’s tough, blue collar aesthetic.

Telesphore Winterlich
Played by: Josh Rubino
Eisen's partner in crime, an ex-professional chef hailing from the Kehrseite.- Affectionate Nickname: Eisen usually calls him 'Telsie' for short.
- The Big Guy
- Bizarre Alien Senses: Has a very sensitive nose, which he says is a trait of his people.
- Chef of Iron: An accomplished cook who used to work in food service, also incredibly physically strong.
- Gentleman Snarker
- Offscreen Teleportation: One of his explicit powers as a "good neighbor" is teleporting as soon as he's out of people's line-of-sight. Eisen finds it a bit annoying.
- Technicolour Eyes: They're pink, they glow, and they mark him as a being from the other side.

Colette’s landlady and, before meeting the boys, her only friend.

- Dirty Old Woman: Makes horny dioramas for fun.
Ariadne Culver
Played by: Addison Peacock
A conniving witch who used to be the royal family’s head advisor, healer and torturer.
- Action Mom: She has an adult son and she's one of the most terrifying combatants in the series.
- Bad with the Bone: She can fuse the bones of her arm into a long blade.
- Evil Chancellor
- Eye Scream: Colette manages to gouge out one of her eyes with a scissors, her fleshcrafting can't regenerate it so she fuses the skin over the socket.
- Lovecraftian Superpower: her ability to control living cells, be they her own or others, makes her not just an adept healer and shape-shifter, but an excellent torturer.
- Hot Witch
Leonid Culver
Played by: Zane Schact
Ariadne’s bratty, dim-witted son.
- Even Evil Has Standards: Isn't a good person, but still isn't a fan of his mother's sadistic tendencies.
- Generation Xerox: His biological father, King Tycho, is played by the same voice actor.
- Psychopathic Manchild: He's thirty years old but enjoys childish hobbies such as model trains, and burning them down.
- Pyromaniac: Introduced preparing to set a model train set on fire before his mother stops him. Also expresses a strong desire to learn pyromancy in a later episode.
