- Badass Adorable: All of them appear cute from time to time, but the world they live and end up in can get very treacherous. But as shown time to time, they can usually handle it.
- Cute Monster Trolls: All alien, all trolls, but good looking. The art style may tie into this.
- Theme Naming:
- Cyrill Omicro (Omega) and Alleph Lampri (Alpha)
- Ellata Rhodos (Nature) and Morson Teslaa (Technology)
- Anaiad Quilla (Moon) and Ollapa Sulise (Sun)
- i’m disorganized!but gosh, i ωish i could pull my oωn ωeight and be helpful.i ωish i could tell you this instead of having to bottle it up like i usually do.
A social omega who wishes to be a hero like ones in cartoons and comic books. Cyrill, despite her cheery outlook on life is and always has been a mess since she was a wriggler. It makes her relaxed and happy to sleep her troubles away, since at times she gets insecure about herself and how she really doesn’t act her age. She’s made friends despite her hardships and has put her past behind her…almost. She still gets worried about her identity and who she really should be: to grow up or not.
In Sgrub, she is the Monk of Space. Her trolltag is achromaticTerminate.
Her typing quirk replaces w's with ω, and she uses emoticons like ^ω^.
- The Atoner: Alt!Cyrill is this because of Alt!Alleph controlling her soul to murder half of the players in the doomed timeline.
- Earthy Barefoot Character: She is almost never seen not messy. Lampshaded here.
- Lazy Bum: Mentioned in her introduction.
- Leitmotif: Azure Monk.
- Messy Hair: Yep.
- Opposites Theme Naming: The Omega to Alleph's Alpha.
- Running Away to Cry: When she enters Sgrub.
- She Cleans Up Nicely: Look at her in a dress.
- Shout-Out: She desperately tries to get a web going.
- Trash of the Titans: Her respiteblock is DEFINITELY this.
- I didn’t want to be reminded of something I could never do again; or that person I used to be~ϟ
First appearance (messaging Cyrill)
A troll with "issues", later revealed to have powers over electricity. Morson used to be a lot more laid back, but one day when he and his friends were outside during a storm, he was hit by lightning which unfortunately gave him electrical powers. At first, it seemed like no big deal, until he started losing control of it. Ever since he shocked Cyrill on accident, he has become very reclusive because he’s desperate to try and get rid of his new electrical abilities. He cares deeply about his friends, and though it pains him to not hang out with them as much anymore, his studies and work to get himself fixed are all for them. As it turns out, he has had electricity all along.
In Sgrub, he is the Mage of Time. His trolltag is staticAmplitude.
His typing quirk involves ending his sentences with ~ϟ, and when his "izzzue" zztartzz acting up, hizz wordzz become zzztatic-y.
- I Cannot Self-Terminate: In the "Surge" timeline, Morson has become so overcome with his powers that he cannot kill himself, and pleads Anaiad to rob him of life in order to stop him.
- I Just Want to Be Normal
- Leitmotif: Turquoise Mage.
- Pentup Power Peril: Morson had powers all along, it's just that the lightning strike's electricity was absorbed into his body and he never released it.
- Sitcom Archnemesis: With Alleph.
- The Perfectionist: In terms of his powers as well as being the Time Player he is perfectionistic in both aspects, and it is lampshaded by Beitus that he abandons all doomed timelines and it could be because of this.
First appearance (messaging Morson)
Ellata has been friends with Cyrill longer than Morson has, and because of this, understands her crazy ways a lot better. Ellata loves history and makes many pointless studies about famous ancient trolls. Because of her late night studies, she’s developed poor posture and in turn took a liking to ballet dancing to fix that with the approval of her lusus. (Though she sucks at it)
In Sgrub, she is the Sylph of Hope. Her trolltag is hypoFloromancy.
- Leitmotif: Leafy Sylph.
- Meaningful Name: Supposely comes from the Rosa Stellata. Her name also sounds like 'a lot of roses'. Her last name, Rhodos, is a variety of rose as well.
- The Medic: In an alternate timeline.
- Plucky Girl
A stubborn seadweller who often bosses around his "friends" to serve his need. He's never been really far and has always lived under the sea, which also was motivation to accept Nohmyt's offer. He's easily embarrassed or intimidated, especially if it takes his self-proclaimed dignity. Alleph is quick to blame others for his misfortune, not unlike another character. His Condesce obsession is irritating to his friends sometimes and can act deceiving because he's truly a good person.
In Sgrub, he is the Chief of Heart. His trolltag is pinnacledArrival.
His typing quirk involves replacing a's with α, and when he speaks LOUDLY, he will not add the alpha into the word.
Tropes pertaining to both Allephs:
- Animal Motifs: Lamprey eels.
- Anime Hair: Look at it.
- Big Bad Wannabe
- Good All Along
- Fantastic Racism: He often commands landdwellers, as stated above, but doesn't hate them, per se.
- Identical Grandson: His hair when wet looks like Lutark's updo, at least, when Lutark wears his hairband.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: He's is pretty hostile to the gang when they are still on Alternia and remains so until they enter the game. Once it happens, Alleph immediately asks if there's a way to save them, proving that he really is dedicated despite his abrasive nature.
- Last-Name Basis: Alleph commonly refers to everyone by their last names, although this dies down.
- Leitmotif: Violet Chief, which sounds so light-hearted it could be mistaken for a theme for any of the Maryams instead.
- More Teeth than the Osmond Family
- Nice Guy: In stark contrast to Lutark, his later grown kindness is not an act.
- Opposites Theme Naming: The Alpha to Cyrill's Omega.
- Purple Is the New Black: Purple is pretty much all over his clothing.
- Relationship Upgrade: With Ollapa. When they enter the game, they become Amicable Exes (as moirails), and later become matesprits.
- Tsundere: Shown here.
- Ugly Cute: As a grub. The artist was talking about the reveal of Cyrill.
- Royal Blood: The second highest on the entire blood caste.
- Sitcom Archnemesis: With Morson.
- Ship Tease: With Ollapa, and as of 10/19/15 are now an Official Couple.
Tropes only pertaining to Alt!Alleph:
- Ax-Crazy: Alt!Alleph became this and went on a murder spree.
- Cessation of Existence: Alt!Alleph.
- Face–Heel Turn: Undergoes a change of heart offscreen in Session Surge.
- Gone Horribly Right: He desperately wants to be taken seriously when he 'commands' his friends and constantly fails. In an alternate timeline he finds out his god tier powers allow him to literally do that. It directly spirals out of control, ends in a massacre of his friends, with the only survivors being Morson and Cyrill.
- Perpetual Frowner: Mostly this, until Alt!Alleph smiles for the first time before dying through Cessation of Existence.
- Teens Are Monsters: Alt!Alleph went Ax-Crazy due to the powers that being the Chief of Heart Sgrub gave him, murdering everyone except Morson and Ollapa.
First appearance (messaging Alleph)
The female half who was split from Ollapa Sulise after a visit from Nohmyt. Anaiad is a bit of a hyperactive oddball, she once freed from Ollapa is finally able to do her own things. She hated being stuck to Ollapa and not being able to have time for herself. As she was seperated from his side she has grown a lot more independent and lively compared to her more relaxed self when she was with her mutant half. She always wanted to explore the outdoors, and she is very enthusiastic about finally being able to handle her own crossbow. She is the kind of person who doesn’t like sitting indoors and would much rather be out and about.
In Sgrub, she is the Rogue of Life. Her trolltag is vivaciousDiva.
- Action Girl: Wields a crossbow.
- Chaste Hero / Celibate Hero
- Dissonant Serenity: Here.c:
- Genki Girl
- Leitmotif: Navy Rogue
- Mala Proper: She mixes up names and words repeatedly throughout her conversations
- Meaningful Name: Her last name comes from Mama Quilla, the moon goddess who was frequently portrayed with braids.
- Classical Mythology: Her name is almost 'Diana' inverted, and Anaiad heavily references Artemis herself.
First appearance (messaging Alleph)
The male half who was split from Anaiad Quilla after a visit from Nohmyt. Ollapa is a troll of few words, although when he was together (attached) to Anaiad he served as a pale figure to her, he has no control of her as of now post-operation in the game. What he does and says is straightforward and to the point, as he is more observant. He is a true gentletroll. However, he still tends to be passive apart from his mutant “other” half. As seen from his separation he shows little to no reaction of being apart from Anaiad, just accepting things as the way they are. Though, it doesn’t mean he doesn’t feel hurt later on.
In Sgrub, he is the Seer of Void. His trolltag is luminousCompetitor.
- Agent Scully: Before he is blasted into the dream bubble, disbelieves there is a virus and thinks it's a prank. Justified in that he hasn't seen the virus in his true appearance before.
- Classical Mythology: His name is almost 'Apollo' backwards, who was also the god of prophecy.
- Leitmotif: Zaffre Seer.
