Sally Kauffman

Determinator: In the case of trying to find her missing cousin, Emily, whom everyone seems to have given up on, Sally is determined to do whatever it takes to find her cousin and bring her home.
Heroic BSoD: Eventually after going through so much of the game, being chased and attacked by monsters, as well as being yelled at by her own cousin, Sally gets this.
Jerkass Realisation: During the rescue of her cousin, Sally think back to a few moments back in the real Bethelwood where she was always picked on, the real reason she disappeared and ended up in the dark version of Bethelwood and all the times she didn't do anything to help Emily, all making her realise that Emily was actually right about her, in fact so much that she decided to make things right and apologise for everything.

Leave Me Alone!: Despite Sally's efforts to bring her home, Emily refuses to have anything to do with her, even yelling at her own cousin. She does, however, have a good reason for that since Sally never did anything to help her against the bullies in the first place at school. However, she is forgiven in the third ending after being rescued.
Missing Child: At the very beginning of the game, Emily had been missing for over a month, trapped in the dark version of her hometown.
Quiet Cry for Help: Near the end of the game, right before Helplessness attacks, Emily says this to Sally, who had caught up with her after Helplessness took Emily into the mines., and after all she was told, Sally doesn't hesitate.
Emily: Please...help me...
(Sally hands Emily her bear)
Sally: Of course I will.
"The Reason You Suck" Speech: Emily gives this to Sally for what she failed to do when she got picked on at school, especially since it was the whole reason she ran away in the first place.
Emily: You left me. I was new at school...Everyone was picking on me...And you...You're my cousin! And you turned your back on me!
Sally: That's not true...
Emily: You're worse than them! You made me think we were friends!

What the Hell, Hero?: Emily gives this to Sally, very harshly, throughout her encounters with her cousin.

Charon

What the Hell, Hero?: After Emily was taken by HELPLESSNESS, Charon calls out Sally, blaming her not acting to save her cousin, causing Sally to break down into tears. Though he calms down and says that there's still a way to save Emily.
