Takuma Fudou
Voiced by: Masahiko Tanaka (Japanese), Bill Wise (English), José Granadillo (Latin American Spanish)
A former thief, and of all the people who actively want to kill Ban, he's the most deranged and obsessed. Yes, that includes Akabane. Nicknamed "The Enlightened," for his ability to see several seconds into the future.
- Ax-Crazy: Really wants to kill Ban, and if he gets hurt in return — well, that's actually a bonus.
- Bad Ass Normal: Fudo definitely qualifies for one of the few badasses not to be affiliated with Witch Queen, Vodoo King, the Brain Trust and special clans, being a normal thief who happened to learn clairvoyance out of his pure obsession with Ban.
- Best Served Cold: Ban took his arm with his Snake Bite. Fudo is desperate to return the favor, with intrest.
- Blood Knight: Wither it's his enemy's blood or his own, he's happy to spread it.
- Combat Clairvoyance: His special ability allows him to see a set number of seconds into the future. While obviously too limited for chessmastering, it turns out that knowing exactly what your opponent is about to do is really useful in a fight.
- Combat Sadomasochist: He loves receiving pain in battle as much as he loves dealing it out. Especially noticeable when he gets pissed off that Ban doesn't put up enough of a fight, and starts slashing up his own chest, screaming at Ban to "make him bleed" and "push him to the edge."
- Disproportionate Retribution: His plans for revenge against Ban can definitely be seen as this — ripping the boy apart, "killing him over and over and over," slurping up his blood, violently murdering anyone that Ban pays attention to or likes, etc. Especially since he managed to get a perfectly fine replacement for his arm that works just as well as his old one (if not even better).
- Does This Remind You of Anything?: Anything he says to Ban. Screaming at Ban to "meet his throbbing desires," "give his body to him," "quench his thirst"... yeeaah.
- Due to the Dead: He receives a pretty darn peaceful, compassionate death courtesy of Ban. Ban even gently closes his eyes and wishes him to have good dreams.
- Eye Patch Of Power: It doesn't give him any special powers, but he does have one.
- Evil Tastes Good: He tends to say stuff like wanting Ban to "quench his thirst," and expresses a desire to "slurp up Ban's blood."
- Light Is Not Good: Dresses like a priest, but is definitely bad.
- Green-Eyed Monster: If his confession to Ginji during the Birth Arc is any indication, he's most definitely very jealous of anyone Ban likes.
- Murder the Hypotenuse: His obsession with Ban actually gets to the point where he decides to do this to Ginji. Because Ban's eyes were only on Ginji and not on him.
- Noodle Incident: Ban ripped his arm off. We don't know how or why. Though knowing the crap that Fudou pulls off all the time, it might not be hard to guess why.
- Oral Fixation: He has a habit of licking his lips when he gets excited. Which means every time he fights with Ban.
- Perma-Stubble: On his chin. On top of everything else, he could really use a shave.
- Psychic Powers: Brief clairvoyance that allows him to see seconds into the future.
- Psycho for Hire: In a series filled with Punch-Clock Villain antagonists, he really stands out as being only interested in Ban and killing.
- Say My Name: MIDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUU!!!!!
- Stalker with a Crush: He stalks and follows Ban everywhere. Ban even lampshades it with annoyance, calling him a "damn stalker zombie."
- Yandere: For Ban.
Captain Blood
- Big Bad: Of The "Marine Red" arc.
- Big Bad Ensemble: After he betrays Dokubachi.
- Body Horror: Has no heart, or any other organs for that matter. See Lovecraftian Super Power.
- Evil Plan: Wants to create a legion of super powered vampires with Marine Red
- Good Scars, Evil Scars: After being scratched by a vampire
- Healing Factor: Due to his vampirism
- The Heartless: He has no heart
- Humanoid Abomination: More like this than an actual vampire
- Lovecraftian Super Power: His body is largely a mass of undifferentiated cells (much like the Vorcha) making him closer to human-shaped Blob Monster or The Worm That Walks than your traditional vampire.
- Motive Decay: Goes from Revenge against Hitler to creating an army of super vampires Hypocrisy yes.
- Our Vampires Are Different
- Revenge: Against Hitler
- Tortured Monster: Became what he is due to Hitler's experiments
- You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: Invokes this against Dokubachi once the two of them acquire the Marine Red. Dokubachi had seen this coming, and easily slaughters Blood's men- except Blood knew that Dokubachi would do that, used the attack and subsequent Curb-Stomp Battle to make his escape with the wine.
Ryudou Hishiki

A protector. Formerly a pro wrestler, he's earned the nickname "Undead" for being, well, unkillable. The only opponent Ban and Ginji will actively go out of their way to completely avoid.- The Brute: In a more explicit way than Akabane. In his third appearance in the manga, he chases after Ban and Ginji at over a hundred miles an hour while tossing police cars out of the way like bowling pins, all while pedaling away on a lady's bicycle!
- The Dreaded: Has the notable distinction of being the only opponent that Ban and Ginji will go to any lengths to avoid fighting.
- Implacable Man: Hit him with lightning, set him on fire do whatever you want — he'll just get back up even more pissed off then before.
- Psycho for Hire: You'd think "the protecter" would be a nice guy — but the people he protects usually have underworld connections.
- Running Gag: Such as it is. Every time he appears, the number of scars on his face and body increase (courtesy of running into the Get Backers).
