Kemura
Legend World
One of the four demon generals of Sengoku Academy and an acquaintance of Genma. He later joins the Seifukai.
He uses a Legend World Deck, focusing on the Widersacher monsters. His Buddy is Sylph. After being brainwashed by Gratos in the second season, he obtains the Inverse Seventh Omni Earth Lord, Twilight Count.
- Animal Motifs: Frogs.
- Berserk Button: He was not happy about Raremaro adding a hate card to his deck.
- Brainwashed: By Gratos.
- Evil Counterpart: Inverted. While he gets Count Dawn's evil clone, Kazane becomes a good counterpart to him when she and Count Dawn join forces later on.
- Let's Buddyfight Like Gentlemen: Refuses to play unfairly and gets angry when he finds out that Raremaro slipped a hate card into his deck.
- My God, What Have I Done?: He immediately regrets his decision to use a hate card to defeat Genma after Genma offered him his friendship, especially when Genma left without saying a word to him. He is reduced to tears over this.Kemura: Win... win... not everything!
- Non-Standard Character Design: He looks as much like a frog as he can while still being clearly human.
- Overly-Long Tongue: To go with the frog motif.
- Taken for Granite: Turned into a stone statue in Hundred after being defeated by Noboru so that Gratos can brainwash him.
- Token Good Teammate: He's the only genuinely honorable member of the group until the others make a Heel–Face Turn, even getting angry when Raremaro slips a hate card into his deck.
- Verbal Tic: "-gero".
- "-kem" in the dub.
Shusui Kanahebi
Katana World
One of the four demon generals of Sengoku Academy. He was originally a member of a group of ninja and was arrested when they were brought down.
He uses a Katana World Deck, using Ninja monsters. His Buddy is Sky Ninja, Yamigarasu.
- Evil Counterpart: To Zanya. At least until he's defeated.
- Heel–Face Turn: When he realizes that starting a group of ninja is what he really wants to do with his life, he decides to make it a positive force rather than a criminal group.
- Last-Name Basis: The only one of the four to be frequently referred to by his last name.
- Ninja: Was part of a group of them, though they were eventually arrested for criminal activities. Zanya finds him despicable due to this. He later decides to start a new group, but not as a criminal organization.
Raremaro Tefudanokimi
Legend World
One of the four generals of Sengoku Academy. He was the Student Council President of Sengoku Academy until he was defeated by Rouga. As a result, he has a grudge against him.
His deck is a Legend World deck and his Buddy is Magical Beast, Grendel.
- Agent Peacock: The most effeminate member of the group, but still a competent Buddyfighter.
- Combat Pragmatist: He has no problems using hate cards to exploit the weak points of his opponents. It didn't work because Gao used a different deck against him.
- Crippling Overspecialization: Suffers from this during his fight against Gao since he built his deck to counter Dragon World, and ended up fighting against Gao's Magic World deck.
- Did Not See That Coming: Gao using Magic World took him by surprise. To his credit, he recovers quickly.
- Heel–Face Turn/Graceful Loser: Changes his attitude upon being defeated by Gao, and accepts being expelled from Sengoku despite Gao's objections.
- Humiliation Conga: His fight against Gao is this in a nutshell.
- Smug Snake: Believes he will defeat Gao easily because he modified his deck to counter Gao's Dragon World deck. Even after it's revealed that Gao will be using Magic World, he still believes that it's going to be an easy win because his opponent is using Magic World for the first time.
Shosetsu Kirisame
Legend World
The fourth Demon General of Sengoku Academy. He uses a Legend World deck focusing on Hero monsters and items such as his buddy Immortal sword, Durendal.
He returns in season four as Legend World's representative in the World Buddy Masters tournament.
- Ambition Is Evil: Ever since seeing what the Disaster Force is capable of, he wanted to become stronger.
- Cool Sword: His buddy is one and he has a few others in his deck.
- Dude Looks Like a Lady: The long hair doesn't help. Nor does his voice in the japanese version.
- Knight in Shining Armor: Sees this as his ideal.
