    Team Lemina Eltfromm

Master: Lemina Eltfromm

A magus from the fallen Yggdmillennia Clan. She is the Master of Berserker Ragnar Lodbrok and Archer Aslaug.

Berserker: Ragnar Lodbrok

A Berserker-class Servant. A viking king from the 9th century. Was married to Aslaug in life.
  • The Berserker: Of course, it's in the class! But it's not constant for him, unlike many other Berserkers in the franchise. Normally his Mad Enhancement is ranked E, allowing him to converse normally with others. But when he activates his Noble Phantasm, Viðurr Berserk, his Mad Enhancement jumps up to A++.
  • Rugged Scar: His body is Covered with Scars which shows how tough he is in surviving the incidents that gave him those in the first place.
  • Serial Spouse: In life, he had married three women. One was the shield-maiden Lagertha whom he later divorced but still were Amicable Exes. Another wife was Thora Borgarhjört but she died of illness. His third wife was Aslaug who outlived him.
  • Sickeningly Sweethearts: The intensity of his love for his little princess is comparable to FGO's Sigurd. The fact Archer can't remember him is a source of great discomfort because he needs to contain himself from interacting with her the same way he did with Aslaug in life.

Archer: Aslaug

An Archer-class Servant. A Valkyrie who was the daughter of the Fafnir slayer Sigurd and the Valkyrie shield-maiden Brynhildr. She was married to Ragnar in life.
  • Canine Companion: When she was alive she had a wolf, which she called a dog due to mixing up the information of what Heimer told her, accompany her. It manifests as her personal skill "Guardian Wolf" and is big enough for her to ride on despite the lack of the Riding skill.
  • Dragon Ancestry: Her personal skill "Inborn Dragon" indicates that she has dragon blood which was inherited from her father Sigurd, who had taken Fafnir's dragon heart into himself. She can form a pseudo-Mana Reactor temporarily.
  • Flight: As a Valkyrie, she can fly.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: More explosive than her Berserker teammate. In her own words, she's only angry when she's protecting her pride, but her shows of anger include attempting premeditated murder on a Viking warrior over nonsensical trials and attacking a mage over being called stupid.
  • Hybrid Power: She is a Heinz Hybrid from her parentage and ancestry, making her part human, part dragon, and part Valkyrie.
  • Loved by All: The main thing she has a complex about. Her parents went out of their way to make her survive Ragnarok alone, leading her to be Happily Adopted by an elder who also loved her very intensely and unconditionally, without her feeling she ever did anything to earn all the love she gets. Her Laser-Guided Amnesia as Archer plays into her complex by pairing her with someone who is, from her perspective, a complete stranger madly in love with her for no reason.
  • Morph Weapon: Her mythril weapon can shift between a lance and a bow.
  • One Degree of Separation: The Rider Servant in the Doubles Subcategory Holy Grail War is her paternal uncle Sinfjötli.
  • Semi-Divine: Her personal skill "Divinity" is at a B+ due to both of her lineages. Her paternal line, the Völsung clan, are descendants of Odin. In particular, her mother was a Valkyrie, a daughter of Odin.
  • Valkyries: Inherited from her mother Brynhildr; she was the last Valkyrie who survived Ragnarök (the end of the Norse Age of the Gods) by sleeping through it.

    Team Istorre

Master: Gagam Istorre

The Master of Lancer Percival and Rider Sinfjötli.

Memel Istorre

Gagam's supporter. She calls their team the Istorre siblings even though they only share a great-grandfather.
  • Animal Motifs: Both the narrator and one of her teammates likens her to a large carnivorous feline.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: Is compared to Aslaug for this. For as much as Memel likes to taunt her enemies, she doesn't react well to being provoked back.

Lancer: Percival

A Lancer-class Servant. A knight of the Round Table.
  • The Dreaded: Comes with having multiple Holy Grail War victories in his career. The moment Ragnar mentioned the shield on his shoulder, Lemina recognized him as Sir Percival and order her Servants to retreat.

Rider: Sinfjötli

A Rider-class Servant. An enormous wolf-man and Aslaug's uncle.
  • Cool Boat: His Noble Phantasm "Fjord Drakkar" summons a longship with an ethereal sail. It's the ship that, in The Saga of the Volsungs, his ancestor Odin used to personally take his corpse to Valhalla. It has a self-destruct feature that can send both his and his target's souls to the afterlife, but in this story he uses it in combination with Percival: the boat maneuvers around while Percival serves as the "cannon".
  • Demonic Possession: Technically, what was summoned here is a wraith—the in-universe term for a normal human ghost—possessing the body of a wolf.
  • In the Hood: He wears a cloak that covers his body and hide his head to obscure his appearance.
  • One Degree of Separation: The Archer Servant in the Doubles Subcategory Holy Grail War is his fraternal niece Aslaug.
  • Our Werewolves Are Different: He manifests as a large bipedal wolf humanoid in clothing likely from the anecdote from when he and his father Sigmund got cursed with lycanthropy.
  • Semi-Divine: His class skill "Divinity" is at a B. As a member of the Völsung clan, he is a descendant of Odin.
  • Taking You with Me: If he releases the True Name of his Noble Phantasm, it kills both him and his target as a reenaction of the legend of Odin bringing him to Valhalla on a boat. His Master forbids him from doing this.

    Team Joanne Mellisell

Master: Joanne Mellisell

The Master of Caster and Assassin. An old woman who once won another Sub-Grail War.

Caster

A woman with a cane. Switches between multiple forms throughout her appearances, including an old woman, a child, and a seductive adult woman. She controls monsters from Slav culture.
  • Handicapped Badass: One of her legs is made of solid bone. Assuming she is Baba Yaga, this is also true of her mythological counterpart.
  • Summon Magic: She can conjure Slavic monsters, phantasmal beasts, and apparitions such as the Lešij (Leshy).
  • The Three Faces of Eve: Her three forms clearly draw on the "mother, maiden, crone" theme.

Assassin

A skull-masked woman with long hair coiled around her body.
  • Braids of Action: She has her hair braided.
  • Walking Armory: She wears gazyrs on her arms and legs which hold implements that appear to be her weapons.

    Team Maltheim

Saber

A man carrying a katana without a tsuba. Considered the strongest and most capable Servant in this Grail War.
