    Vamp

"Vamp"

Captain of the First Division and a ruthless sadist who won't let anyone get in her way.
  • Femme Fatale: It's implied she was this during her previous lifetime.
  • Ms. Fanservice: Has a bunch of scenes invoking this trope. Vamp knows how to exploit her body to persuade others.
  • The Vamp: It's literally her codename! With how she behaves, it's well-deserved.

    Jimmy Higgins

Jimmy Higgins

A naive teen who prefers to follow rather than lead. He becomes quick friends with most of the people he meets, including Sada.
  • Distracted by the Sexy: Has a moment of this when he first meets a completely naked Sada in the Swamp of Blood. Has recurring instances around Vamp.
  • I Have Boobs, You Must Obey!: Suffers from this under Vamp's leadership. Her promises of sexual favors entice the inexperienced Jimmy to follow her commands.

Reprobate Third Division

    Sundowner

"Sundowner"

A crazed young man with seemingly limitless tenacity. He keeps his past close and his fights only for himself.
  • Ax-Crazy: He doesn't have a shred of mercy; killing or letting others die so that he can advance through the Rings of Rebirth unhindered.
  • Eyes Out of Sight: His eyes are constantly obscured by his messy light-blue hair.
  • Guile Hero: Averted in a moral sense, as he's anything but heroic. He rarely uses weaponry and instead prefers to deceive others or trick them into killing themselves.
  • Indy Ploy: From the looks of things, almost everything he does is improvised and in the moment.
  • Obfuscating Stupidity: Sundowner acts aloof and carefree, even pretending he doesn't understand how things work most of the time. It's all a ruse. He does this to throw others off his track, making it seem like he's going to be one of the first to die.
  • Only Known by Their Nickname: Currently his real name is unknown, but it doesn't stop others from calling him "Sundowner" due to his manic state of mind and restlessness.
  • Slasher Smile: Dips in and out of this and a Psychotic Smirk, but his tactical bloodlust shows through his expressions.
  • Strolling Through the Chaos: During the Bestial Path, Sundowner proceeds to take his time in the race all while demons are chasing him. Even through the most chaotic of events, Sundowner always keeps his cool.

Reprobate Fourth Division

    Casanova

"Casanova"

Captain of the Fourth Division, Casanova is very much a ladies man in the afterlife as he was in his previous life. The females on his team flock to him like groupies, which he uses to his advantage.
  • All Girls Want Bad Boys: Even in death, Casanova has girls flocking to him.
  • All Men Are Perverts: He's one of the perviest Reprobates, but keeps it well-hidden.
  • Lovable Rogue: Comes across as one. He's really just a bad boy who loves the ladies and his goofy narcissism helps distance him from the far more evil characters in the series.
  • Nice Guys Finish Last: Has this mentality towards other guys, but in more of a romantic sense rather than survival-of-the-fittest.
  • No Historical Figures Were Harmed: Takes his namesake from the "Casanova Killer", Paul John Knowles.

Genzo (Codename: The Rake)

A yakuza boss previously in life, he recruits others to his cause in an attempt to weed out the weak competition.

    Angel Maker

"Angel Maker"

A hitman in his former life, this mysterious and silent man is the right hand of Genzo the Rake.
  • Badass Longcoat: Wears a tattered black coat with a high collar. He always keeps it buttoned up (including the collar), causing it to obscure the lower half of his face.
  • Bald of Evil: His entire head is shaved clean and adorned with jagged spikes.
  • The Faceless: The lower half of Angel Maker's face is always covered up by the clasped collar on his coat.
  • Horned Humanoid: Like the other Reprobates, he possesses horns on his body for every evil sin he committed in life. His happen to be scattered across his head and face.
  • Names to Run Away from Really Fast: Angel Maker. He received the moniker during his life as a contract killer.

Reprobate Sixth Division

    Bender (51st)

Bender

Captain of the Sixth Division, Bender is a gruff and despicable man with little in terms of manners or decorum. Much of his past remains cloaked in secret.
  • Gonk: He's obese, smells, has rotting teeth and happens to be a crass asshole to everyone he meets.
  • Hillbilly Horrors: From the way he looks, acts and talks; Bender was up to some seriously disturbing stuff on his farm.

    "Neon Deon" (55th)

Deon (Codename: Neon Deon)

  • He-Man Woman Hater: Deon has an apparent hatred toward women, but only women in a position of power or authority over him. This is what leads to many conflicts between him and Sada.
  • No Historical Figures Were Harmed: His namesake comes from the American serial killer Darren Deon Vann.
  • Removing the Rival: Tries to accomplish this in the very first trial with Sada, as he fears she could become a future threat to his survival. That, and in his own words, she was a "bitch".
  • Scary Black Man: His tendency to kill his own teammates on a dime and antagonistic displays toward others in positions of authority lead to many of the Reprobates labeling him as this.
  • Self-Applied Nickname: Calls himself "Neon Deon", claiming it was an infamous moniker he got during his previous life in the hood.
  • Sixth Ranger Traitor: Joins Natsukawa and Sada during the Swamp of Blood, only to betray Sada at the last second in a bid to prevent her from becoming a future threat.

    Dennis "The Moron" Morin (57th)

Dennis Morin (Codename: The Moron)

  • Born Lucky: His luck is the primary reason he's even still alive after several of the ordeals the Reprobates have faced.
  • Droit du Seigneur: He believes it's his right to take what's his as the victor of several Rings of Rebirth, leading to him attempting to rape one of the Reprobates during a trial.
  • Embarrassing Nickname: It can't get much worse than "The Moron". Sada calls him "Morokin", essentially the Japanese equivalent of the same insult.
  • Endearingly Dorky: Invoked and quickly averted. He comes off as a dork, but is quick to join Neon Deon in attempted murder against Sada.
  • Entitled Bastard: His successes in the Rings of Rebirth lead to him devolving from an originally Endearingly Dorky guy to a hated prick that believes he's a king in the making. Everything he was denied in his previous life, he fully intends to take for himself in the afterlife.
  • Evil Nerd: He's a bit chubby and kind of a giant dork, but his ability to rationalize betrayal and murder for the sake of his own survival (and in some cases just because he dislikes someone) makes him one of the most despicable Reprobates.
  • Fat Bastard: His descent into debauchery and violence quickly results in him becoming this.
  • No Historical Figures Were Harmed: His namesake comes from the serial killers Dennis Rader and Stephen Morin.

  • No Historical Figures Were Harmed: His namesake comes from the Ancient Roman poisoner, Locusta.
  • Old Master: Comes across as this to a few of the Reprobates who notice just how skilled he is with the Rings of Rebirth.
  • Ostentatious Secret: Invoked. He himself isn't sure what his secret is, but he knows he has one that allows him to know the solutions to the Rings of Rebirth.
  • Stronger with Age: Despite appearing to be in his eighties, he's ripped and able to sprint faster than a majority of the other Reprobates. Not to mention, he's also skilled in takedown wrestling techniques.
  • When Elders Attack: If you see Locusta coming after you, you'll probably end up dead. The old man is built like a truck and nothing can stand in his way.
