- Berserk Button: El Hermano seems to be a living version of this, as he's one of the few things that can make Grand Priest lose his composure.
- Head Desk: After finding out that Emo achieved El Blanco, he proceeds to slam his head against the wall.
- I Have No Son!: Well, more like "I Have No Brother", but the idea's the same. He even punctuated it with a Megaton Punch right in Emo's face, that's how serious he is about it. Only time will tell whether he means his old "blood brothers" type relationship with El Hermano or something else.
- Insistent Terminology: He insisted that the El Blanco tequila be called an "elixir". This was mainly so Emo didn't hear about it.
- Mistaken for Pedophile: Both Emo and Slick have called him a pedo, with Emo saying that he looks like "someone that might ask me to enter your white van".
- Properly Paranoid: His fears about El Hermano escaping and the need to be prepared for when that happens are well-founded, as the Gohan Saint Beasts are almost ready to free him.

- Battle Aura: She's actually able to weaponize the electricity coming off her El Blanco form to give her attacks an electric boost.
- Big Sister Instinct: Although the two aren't siblings, she cares for Black like a brother. She even threatens to destroy the Gohan Council's facility if they mess with him.
- The Coats Are Off: She does this during her fighting with Hit.
- Death Glare: She gives one to A Pimp Named Gohan when he jokingly tells her to take the rest of her clothes off after removing her jacket.
- Insistent Terminology: She prefers that Black calls her "Big Sis" instead of "Master".
- Mythology Gag: Her outfit is similar to Toriyama’s early designs for Gohan during the Buu Saga.
- Only in It for the Money: It's made very clear that she's only protecting A Pimp Named Gohan because of the money she gets afterwards.
- Rapid-Fire Fisticuffs: Her "Lightning Wolf Fang Fist" attack is this, as it's just Yamcha's "Wolf Fang Fist" but with an electric boost to it.
- Toxic Friend Influence: Heavily downplayed, but Black only decides to ignore the Gohan Accords to try and fix Emo’s Chichi after she says it’s what she’d do in his situation.
- Traumatic Superpower Awakening: Witnessing the death of her world's Trunks is what caused her to achieve El Blanco.
- Walking Spoiler: "Hit vs Gohana" reveals that Gohana betrayed the Gohan Council and joined the Saint Gohan Beasts as Gohan A.

- All or Nothing: While the Gohan Council were watching and betting on Black and Emo's fight, everyone betted on large amounts of money on Black while he jokingly bets $1 on Emo. He ends up winning.Gohana: The fuckers betted on his fight, didn't they?Absalon: Yeah, yeah, they did. Hell, one member betted one dollar on Emo and now he's richer than Jeff Bezos. Whoever the fuck that is.
- Bodyguard Betrayal: He gets killed by his bodyguard Gohana after uncovering her secret.
- Expy: After getting rich, he becomes like A Pimp Named Slickback from The Boondocks.
- He Knows Too Much: He ends up getting killed by Gohana when he sees the Saint Gohan Beasts' contact info on her phone.

- Red Eyes, Take Warning: Presumably due to him being under Baby Gohan's control, he's seen with red eyes.
