The main character of the blog and the 12th incarnation of the Doctor. Due to an encounter with Discord, instead of being his heroic self, he has become cowardly, womanizing, and outright vicious at times. He tries most of the time to stay in the TARDIS hidden in the time vortex, but he has again and again been forced to leave. From time to time, his original personality manages to emerge, but it doesn't remain permanently and he always reverts to his Discorded state shortly.
- The Alcoholic: Gets drunk far more than his predecessors would have. Usually accompanied by a sombrero.
- Anti-Hero: Type 5 when Discorded, borderline Villain Protagonist judging by some of the horrible things he does.

time to time - The Nth Doctor: An alternate Twelfth Doctor. Regenerated when he and the Ponds left Mercy, Nevada, and ended up going to Equestria. The Ponds were killed when the environment tried to morph them into ponies. The Doctor only survived because he regenerated.
- Trademark Favorite Food: Strangely enough, pears, but only while Discorded, else he has a panic attack when he so much as sees one. Butter is unanimous among his psyche as tasty.
The Doctors original companion in this universe, also the first pony he ever met. The pair went on many adventures together through time and space, but after the fateful encounter with Discord which changed the Doctor, she left the Tardis. Since then, the Doctor believes she betrayed him when he needed help the most and has beat her to a pulp on more than one occasion. Despite the abuse she's still concerned with the Doctor, knowing something is wrong with him and time itself.
- All Love Is Unrequited: Developed a huge crush on The Doctor during their adventures together. The Doctor apparently knew this before being discorded.
- Determinator: All the abuse, all the horrible things he's said to her and she still won't give up on him.
- "Time agent and Torchwood. You get used to things."
An old friend of the Doctors who Came Back Wrong and is immortal, Jack was the former head of Torchwood, but after the events of Torchwood: Children of Earth, he dismantled Torchwood. He picked up a Dalek signal in his universe and gave chase, but The Doctor causing a Sonic Time Boom while Drunk opened a rift in time and brought him to Equestria.

- Kind Restraints: The Doctor won't let him out the Tardis in fear of losing him. Jack is not happy with this.
- Timey-Wimey Ball: The first time we see him, he's already formed a new Torchwood and has been investigating murders and stalking the Doctor. Yet the first time the Doctor sees him, its the first time Jack even enters Equestria.
