But come the end of season 2 he was willing to give that life up to save his friends and the world.
  • Like Father, Like Son: Like his Father he was a Tracker, and by was, it means he was no longer a tracker come the end of season 1 due to him helping a Dowser named Lucy, but was rejousted by tracking an untrackable.      Dread Magic (Major Spoilers

Jayce Chinda

A tracker and the older brother of Shak who was turned into a demon.
  • Ambiguous Situation: It's unclear how much of Jayce is still himself and how corrupted he is from Dread Magic.
  • Anti-Villain: Subverted. Initially, Jayce wants to use a dark force to return to normal and bring back a golden age of magic. However, his corruption influenced him to seek out Dread Magic and spread it across the world.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Even though he turned out to have been evil, he deeply loved his sister, despite having manipulated her. This is downplayed when he decided to sacrifice her to get to the coffer of the Spellbounds.
  • I Am Legion: When his corruption gets stronger, he starts using "we" to refer to himself.
  • Sealed Evil in a Can: Five years before the series he was locked up in a Soul Box by alchemists, possibly because of his corruption, but whether he became a demon before or while getting sealed in it is unknown. He is sealed once more in a bottle with Dread Magic.
  • Walking Spoiler: It's hard to talk about him without revealing major spoilers.
