Kids

    Deltron
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/deltron.png

A kid pretending to be a robot from the year 3030. He claims he came back from the future to find more cassette tapes for his player that apparently acts as his power source.

  • Chekhov's Gunman: Shows up out of nowhere to serve as a distraction for Craig's team with a rendition of Deltron's "Positive Contact" during the Capture the Flag game against King Xavier.
  • Cyborg: From the future!
  • Disney Death: He ends up dying after falling down and subsequently breaking his cassette player. Thankfully, with some quick surgery from his friends, they replace his old player with a (slightly) modernized CD player which brings him back to full health.
  • Grew Beyond Their Programming: Originally, Deltron was created to be a subservient drone for the tyrants to control. What they didn't count on was for Deltron to develop his own personality and fight back against his oppressors.
  • I Just Want to Have Friends: He confesses that he's the only machine who is fighting the tyrants and is alone throughout it all. In the end, he's touched when Craig, Kelsey, and JP declare themselves to be his friends.
  • La Résistance: He's a one-boy rebellion who is fighting to save the future from a shadowy group of technological tyrants.
  • Maybe Magic, Maybe Mundane: At the end of the episode, when the Stump Trio turns their back for a second, they find a charred circle from where Deltron was standing. This heavily suggests that he really was a time-traveling resistance fighter after all.
  • Power Source: Deltron playing musical cassettes with his player.
  • Shout-Out: Deltron along with the title of his episode are shout-outs to the album of the same name, "Deltron 3030". He named his cassette player "Automator." This is a reference to record producer Dan the Automator who worked with Del on the very same album.
  • Special Guest: Rap artist Del The Funky Homosapien as a kid who sings original songs for the episode he appears in.
  • Take That!: While discussing what led to his Bad Future, Deltron mentions that the adults got rid of Net Neutrality.
  • Time Travel: His robotic body allows him to travel to the past.
  • Vocal Dissonance: He's around the same age as the main trio but has an especially deep voice. Makes since considering he is voiced by a 90's rapper and is even lampshaded by J.P.

The Ancient Creek Kids of the '70s

    The Founders
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/first_ones.png

Three kids from the 1970s who were the 'First Ones' to play in and establish Creek life when Herkelston was first built.

  • Agent Mulder: Cathy had a huge interest in aliens and would use an old-fashioned radio to make contact with them.
  • Amazon Chaser: A PG example. Bradley's favorite comic hero is a fierce warrior named Reptiliana.
  • Black and Nerdy: Bradley is black and enjoys comic books.
  • Generation Xerox: Each First One shares a similarity with the Stump Trio.
    • Pradeep was the artist who loved drawing the Creek. Much like Craig.
    • Bradley is a fantasy lover and has his own comic book collection. Much like Kelsey.
    • Cathy is the cheerful oddball of the group. Much like J.P.
  • Multinational Team: Bradley is African American, Pradeep is Indian and Cathy is Caucasian.
  • Riddle for the Ages: It's unclear as to what became of the three after the Capture the Flag incident.
  • Sweet Tooth: They all shared a love for candy as shown by the massive treasure trove of candy they've hidden in their base.

    The Game Master

A Creek Kid from the 1970s who was responsible for keeping scores and enforcing the rules for every game that was played

  • The Ghost: Compared to the First Ones, the Game Master's appearance is a total mystery.
  • Riddle Me This: They used riddles when making their messages and games.
  • Rules Lawyer: Was this for the entire Creek in the '70s.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: They're revealed to have stolen the flags from the "Capture the Flag" game, as the First Ones of the Creek were at each other's throats to capture them.

Bernard's friendlier and more pleasant girlfriend.

  • Big Beautiful Woman: Is a very pretty girl with a noticeable pudge.
  • Butt-Monkey: Occasionally, whenever she's around and Bernard suffers from Craig's antics, so does she.
  • Friend to All Children: She gets along great with Bernard's younger siblings and even has a part-time job as a babysitter.
  • Go-Getter Girl: She's already mapped out her future career plan with Bernard and how they'll end up becoming governors if they stick to her agenda.
  • Hidden Badass: When she, Bernard, Craig, and the others think the monster from a movie she, Bernard, and her friends were watching the previous night has come to life in "Creature Feature", she shows that she can be quite the Action Girl if need be, even if the monster turned out to just be Elder David in a costume. She also goes to a fencing demo during her college tour in Bernard of the Creek and uses her new skills to defeat Elder Mark.
  • Hidden Depths: She's part of a babysitters' union and holds the position of sergeant-at-arms.
  • Morality Pet: She shows that Bernard is not a complete jerk.
  • Motherly Side Plait: While she's too young to be a mother, her ponytail is fashioned this way and Alexis herself has several mother-like qualities.
  • Nice Girl: Alexis is a very lovely, sweet, kind, perky, pleasant, self-assured, and friendly person.
  • Satellite Love Interest: She's only around when Bernard is involved.

  • Mellow Fellow: Comes off as pretty chill and relaxed.
