Detective Keith J. Snyder

Voiced by: Jeff Manning

The Protagonist of the game. He was assigned to bodyguard some VIPs at The Desert Moon's grand opening, when chaos broke out, and most of the guests were turned into vampires.

• Nice Guy: Keith genuinely cares about the safety of others, ushering casino patrons during the chaos, turning vampires back into humans and escorting Misato. He even shows kindness and understanding to Alicia/Claudia after the reveal of her being Brainwashed and Crazy
• Walking Shirtless Scene: He gave his coat away in the intro cutscene, and spends the game shirtless.
• Wrongfully Accused: The main reason he was sent to be a VIP at the Desert Moon was a punishment for apparently killing his partner Wesley Simmons. He didn't, it was The Man in Black who thought Wesley was a vampire.

Misato Hayakawa

Voiced by: Bianca Allen

A waitress who managed to avoid being turned into a vampire in the chaos who later accompanies Keith.

• Damsel in Distress: Keith comes to her aid throughout the game. Justified, it's her first day working at the casino and is terrified at the chaos.
• Delicate and Sickly: Misato passes out a few times in game due to a mystery illness that links her unconsciousness to a full moon. This is because she's the Moon Messenger and according to prophecy should Gells encounter her before the turn of the millenium, the sun will never rise again, making her an unwitting Apocalypse Maiden.
• I Was Just Joking: Plays a joke on Keith in the standard ending, pretending to be a follower of Gells. She then drops the act with a "just kidding" before a Big Damn Kiss
• Little Black Dress: She wears a black dress in shoes.
• Love Interest: To Keith.

Man in Black/ Jane Dark

Voiced by: Barry Gjerde (Man in Black)/ Lenne Hardt (Jane Dark

A mysterious cloaked figure who speaks of a countdown that has begun.

• Black Cloak: He wears one that covers his whole body.
• Vampire Hunter: He aims to prevent the resurrection of Gells.
• Voice of the Legion: His voice sounds this way.
• The Reveal: The Man in Black is actually Jane Dark, Keith's twin sister!

Mira Swish

Voiced by: Bianca Allen

Another police detective present at the Desert Moon. Aside from the intro, her role is only elaborated upon in Special Story Mode.

• Big Damn Heroes: Near the end in Special Story Mode, Mira single handedly saves Keith, Claudia and Scheck from Jules, killing him instantly.
• Earn Your Happy Ending: After ten long years, Mira is finally reunited with her sister Claudia.
• Fair Cop: Mira is a beautiful police detective accented in red, brunette curls and the game's Fanservice.
• Lady in Red: She wears a particularly figure hugging one-piece in the intro.
• I Will Find You: She's determined to find her missing sister Claudia.

Alicia S. Tiller/ Claudia Swish

Voiced by: Rumiko Varnes/ Bianca Allen (Claudia Swish)

One of the daughters of Stephen Tiller, the head of his namesake's corporation. Alicia is responsible for the incident at the Desert Moon. Her role is expanded on in Special Story Mode.

• Brainwashed and Crazy: Alicia/Claudia was kidnapped at nine years old by Global Land Development, implanted with false memories and was presumably adopted by Stephen Tiller at some point.
• Deadpan Snarker: Shows shades of this towards Keith in the Luna Dam.
• The Reveal: Her true identity is Claudia Swish, Mira's sister who went missing ten years prior.

Jules Doors

Voiced by: Brian Matt Uhl

One of the SWAT team members hired up as backup for the VIP's at the Desert Moon.

• Evil All Along: Jules captures Keith, Claudia and his own comrade Scheck.
• Evil Laugh: Strongly prone to bouts of this during his Heel–Face Turn.
• Go for the Eye: Literally. He's responsible for blinding Scheck's wife, Barbara.
• I'm a Humanitarian: Strongly implied. He speaks of making Scheck's family his food.
• Jerkass: Gloating to Claudia about Mira crying over her dead body, bragging that he blinded Scheck's wife, planning to frame Jane for his crimes...the list goes on.
• Mr. Exposition: While Keith and co are captured, Jules exposes plot twist after plot twist to his captives.
• Take Over the World: Inferred strongly when Jules proclaims his lofty goals of becoming the next US President, then Emperor of a new age with Gell's blood in his veins.
