    Mel Sumouski

Voiced by: John DiMaggio

Sumo's dad who tries his best to manage his dozen offspring.

  • Ax-Crazy: He's very psychotic at times
  • Big Ol' Unibrow: Type 2.
  • Bumbling Dad: Not to the extent of Chad, but still.
  • Characterization Marches On: In "Dinner Party" and "Dream Boat" he's fairly mellow and adjusted. Then comes "Nothing Ventured", where he's suddenly a manic, get-rich-quick type schemer. And then he reverts back to his mellow, sensible persona afterwards.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: "Nothing Ventured" shows he's almost as wacky as Sumo. When trying to build a modern art gallery with Chad, he suggests they make a "fire door", and actually means a door ''made of fire.
  • Cover Innocent Eyes and Ears / Men Don't Cry: In the "Flood Brothers" episode, he covers Sumo's eyes to "shield him from the sight of a grown man crying" after seeing Chad weeping over Clarence being lost. Of course, he might just be uncomfortable with any crying, since he didn't react well to the rest of the group's tears.
  • Inconsistent Spelling: Same as Sumo, his last name varies between "Sumowski" and "Sumouski" in some episodes.
  • Like Father, Like Son: He's childish and hyperactive like his son.
  • Manchild: He's pretty immature and silly.

    Tanner Sumouski

Voiced by: Ari Rubin

Mel and Tinona's oldest son.

  • Big Brother Bully: To Sumo.
  • The Big Guy: Type 1, or possibly even a Type 6, judging by his demeanor. Possibly even bigger than Nathan himself.
  • Dumb Muscle: His phyisical appearance clarifies that he's muscular, and he lacks intelligence, even failing to master nail-stumping, which Sumo was able to do.
  • Dumb Blonde: A male example of this, but not to the extent that Clarence is.
  • Jerkass: Like this to Sumo and Clarence.
  • Jerkass Has a Point: In "Stump Brothers", Tanner explains that he bullies Sumo because he wants to toughen him up.
