Protagonist

    Geeko Nokomura
  • Enfant Terrible: She was just as insanely violent and homicidal when she was little as six. The pedophile who she lured into an abandoned alleyway can attest to this when he's pulverized into mincemeat by her chainsaw blades.
  • Sole Survivor: She's the only one in Class 2-C who wasn't kidnapped, killed, modified and become a crazed zombie by Aoi. Yuto doesn't count since he was personally spared to be Aoi's pet but then never seen again after his rescue.

Allies

    Brawling Lucifer
  • Second Episode Introduction: She debuts in the second arc whereas every other main character was introduced in the first and becomes a mainstay for the rest of the series.

    Asako Senzaki and Yoshie Mizushima
  • Giver of Lame Names: Senzaki has a habit of naming her revolutionary inventions with on-the-mark but really stupid-sounding names such as "Zombie, come here, come here" paste and "They're Dead" bullets.

    Sayuri Bakutani
Former honor student and second remodelled corpse to defect to Geeko's side. Every single part of her body was replaced with robotic parts to become a living Human Weapon.
  • Spin Attack: One of her signature moves is "Twin-Headed Salamander" in which she does a spinning handstand and shoots an endless barrage of missiles from her leg cannons, devasting the entire area surrounding her.

    Drillie
A young schoolgirl remodelled corpse with drills for hands.
  • The Baby of the Bunch: She's the youngest of the remodelled corpses we've seen, looking around the age of a young schoolgirl than a teenager or older.
  • Chekhov's Gunman: After her head was non-fatally smashed in by Boy A, the mind chip Aoi installed in her brain got damaged which prevent Aoi from controlling her and allowing Drillie to briefly get the drop on her.
  • Second Episode Introduction: Like Lucifer, she was introduced midway into the second arc and defects to the heroes' side from then on.
  • "X" Marks the Hero: Her surgical stitches forms one on her face and she is ostensibly the nicest remodelled corpse around.

Antagonists

    Nero Aoi
  • Inconsistent Coloring: The covers and coloured pages of the manga can't seem to get her eye colour straight from half-green and half-red to dark blue to light purple.
  • Mad Eye: She has amblyopia in her left eye which makes her pupil unable to look anywhere but upward. This makes her appearance look deranged and unnerving just like her mental state and ambitions.
  • Teen Genius: At the age of fifteen, she's an expert in surgery, biology and advanced mechanical engineering which enables her to build complex robotic enhancements and reanimate the dead.
  • Would Hurt a Child: She has no qualms about killing and even operating on children to further her agenda as shown in the very first chapter where she tried trapping a bus full of kindergarteners so her remodelled army can have lunch and for Drillie, well, she doesn't need an explanation.

Remodelled Corpses

    In General
  • We Hardly Knew Ye: They don't last long against Geeko and gang, usually dying in the same chapter they debuted in.

Class 3-A (Gore Gore Zombie Club)
The former classmates of Geeko and Nero in Uguisu Middle School. Their relentless bullying inspired Nero to perform the remodelling procedure and they became her first test subjects.

Inoue Genji

The former number one student who's reduced to a porous, tentacled sex freak (Like that last part wasn't present when he was still alive).
  • Starter Villain: The first of the remodelled corspes with a name to go up against Geeko and taste her chainsaw.

Chiko

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/chiko_5.jpg

A pantless schoolgirl who had mechanical Spider Limbs attached to her torso.

  • An Arm and a Leg: Both her legs were amputated, leaving behind bandaged stumps so she's more reliant on her Spider Limbs.
  • Oh, Crap!: Had this reaction when Geeko flicks a lit cigarette at her...when she's completely drenched head-to-spider limb in sake and various alcohol from their bar chase.
  • Fan Disservice: Chicko wears nothing from the bottom down beside her panties except that her severed legs, Spider Limbs and crazed eyes make it all the more disturbing than titillating.
  • Pants-Free: Her skirt had got to go to make room for her Spider Limbs, exposing her frilly panties in a non-fanservicey way.
  • Spider Limbs: Her remodification involves amputating both her legs from the knee down and replacing them with mechanical ones attached to her waists that make her skitter like a spider.
  • Toast of Tardiness: Her first appearance has one in her mouth as she's running late for school. The teacher, who normally and harshly punished tardy students with sadistic glee, was so terrified of her that he lets her through without incident.

Tamura

Mirako and Merako

Nero's personal maids. Mirako has robotic implements and can light her fingers on fire while Merako is covered in bandages and has half her face caved in.
  • The Dividual: The two were never seen apart and even died together. Also, their names are similar with a one-letter difference separating the two.
  • Mundane Utility: Mirako uses her finger lighters to toast bread and for smoke breaks than any offensive capabilities.

Nozomi Nishima

The School Idol known for her infamous Wardrobe Malfunction at her debut concert. The remodelling procedure has left her nothing but a head in a giant mecha suit.
  • Alliterative Name: There are two "N"s in Nozomi Nishima.
  • Wardrobe Malfunction: She got her fifteen minutes of fame for unintentionally flashing her boobs live on stage due to her skimpy top bursting open. All of her "fans" went into a frenzy and chanted she should strip as she tearfully ran off the stage.

Zombie Ninja Squad

The six members of the School Ninja Club
  • Talking Is a Free Action: Averted when the leader Hanzo tries reading the speech he's prepared on a scroll for Geeko, he gets decapitated lengthwise by the latter without hesitation.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Downplayed, they are a major step up from and have the ninja abilities their former otaku selves can never achieve but are still no match for Geeko and her modified chainsaw.

    Regan's Gang

Regan

  • Arch-Enemy: To Lucifer whom she has an unspecified but mutual grudge against which is enough to warrant the intent of killing her.
  • Logical Weakness: Her powers require victims to look directly at her so she can paralyze them on sight. Anyone who averts their eyes (Geeko) or doesn't have any to begin with (Electrik Red) causes Regan to lose her decisive advantage.

Natasha

  • Abnormal Limb Rotation Range: She can rapidly spin her arms and joints 360 degrees in any direction like nunchucks. This is especially dangerous when she's holding sharp weapons.

Masshu

  • Punny Name: Her name sounds a lot like "Mushroom" to an English speaker. Guess what her powers are.

Queen

  • The Worf Effect: She was hyped to be the strongest of Regan's gang members, beating even Reagan herself, only for Nemesis to effortlessly stomp on her head to show who's the bigger threat.

    The Guardians

Death Spank, Requiem Of Fools and the fourth member

  • No Name Given: The fourth member refuses to give out their name since they thought it was pointless. Should have taken the opportunity after Lucifer made quick work of them.
  • Punk in the Trunk: Death Spank was tied up and thrown into the trunk of Senzaki's car for further interrogation before the gang kills them but the Magai Sisters got to them first.
  • We Hardly Knew Ye: Requiem Of Fools and the fourth member instantaneously died in the same chapter they had focused on.

    Dungeon Underlings
The enemies Geeko and co. have to take out in Nero's dungeon

Melon Momoi

A melon-themed underground idol who was fatally stabbed by one of her crazed fans.
  • Alliterative Name: Her stage name is Melon Momoi.
  • Logical Weakness: Melon's duplicates are made entirely out of liquid so all it took was Geeko toppling over a vending machine and letting the broken coolant tank instantly freeze them over to make them into harmless, immovable ice sculptures waiting to be smashed.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Thought she could escape death by asking The Hellhouse Siblings, known as ruthless ever-hungry cannibals, for help. They happily butchered and cooked her remains for their supper snack without a second thought.

The Hellhouse Siblings

Emily Angelkiss, Josie Thunder-Pussy, The 14th Century Elizabeth Bathory and Demonz Sex-Fiend

An American women's mud wrestling team who were caught up in a fatal bus crash while visiting Japan.
  • Agony of the Feet: Elizabeth Bathory's feet are nailed to Demonz Sex-Fiend's head for easier control of maneuvering the latter. She also used the nails still in her feet to slash her victims when detached.
  • The Faceless: Josie Thunder-Pussy and Demonz Sex-Fiend's faces are completely obscure by the masks they are wearing. You can thank Emily for that.
  • Kill It with Water: Josie Thunder-Pussy can shoot out pressurized jetstreams from her literal showerhead enough to make her victims swiss-cheese as Emily's hole-riddled body could attest.
  • Logical Weakness: Emily Angelkiss's brainwashing only works when she blows a kiss directing onto her target's lips. Covering your face, like what her teammates did, would render it useless.
  • Projectile Kiss: How Emily Angelkiss activates her powers which would leave a giant heart-shaped mark on her victim's lips.
  • The Starscream: Emily Angelkiss proclaims to be the leader of her mud-wrestling group despite her teammates finding her irritating to the point of gladly finishing her off without hesitation. She's also the reason why they all wear masks from her repeated attempts to take control through hypnosis forcibly.
  • The Team Normal: Unlike her teammates, Bathory doesn't have any modifications which give her powers and relies on manually controlling Demonz Sex-Fiend to kill her enemies.

    Other Notable Remodelled Corpses

The Magai Sisters (Danko, Wariko and Zanko)

A trio of sisters who can morph the iron in their bodies into weapons. They try ambushing Geeko and Co. in the sauna they were resting at but were quickly dealt with.
  • Meaningful Name: The kanjis in their name correspond to their fighting style: Danko has "Bullet" (Gatling gun), Wariko has "Smashing" (Warhammer) and Zanko has "Slicing" (Katana).

Para Saito

  • Ambiguous Gender Identity: Para was a girl in the flashback but is now called by "They/Them" pronouns in the present. It didn't really help that their original appearance had a sack over their head with every part of their decaying skin completely covered.
  • Punny Name: Para Saitou sounds like "Parasite" to an English speaker. They were remodelled as a face hugger-like being capable of forcibly entering and taking over human bodies.

Others

    Yuto Mizugame
Nero's childhood friend (on her side) and the only other classmate from 2-C to be spared from the remodelling procedure. He's held hostage by Nero as her pet.
  • Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: After he was rescued from Nero's lair with what's left of his sanity, he drops out completely from the manga without explanation, never to be mentioned or remembered again. Not even Nero whom she was an Abhorrent Admirer to.
  • Distressed Dude: Spends his entire appearance trapped in Nero's grasp until Geeko unintentionally saved him.
  • Older Than He Looks: He is the same age as Geeko and Aoi and has known the latter for a long time but looks like a little kid given his absurdly short stature. This also makes Aoi look like she's putting sexual advances on a minor when that's not the case.
