The Berry Bees

    Bobby (Raspberry)
Actor: Sheena May

Tropes:

  • City Mouse: When sent to live on a farm for a week, Bobby is completely discombobulated by the lack of technology or places to recharge her electronic devices.
  • Gadgeteer Genius: Builds her own technological gadgets.
  • Nerd Action Hero: Don't let the fact that's she a computer geek fool you, she can and will use her martial arts training to fight back!
  • Oblivious to Love: When Juliette tells Bobby the only way she could get Kurt to play Prince Charming was to volunteer her to play Cinderella, she genuinely does not understand why this would be a motivation. The expression on her friends' faces says it all.
  • Smart People Wear Glasses: Wears glasses in her civilian identity. As a spy, wears a technovisor.
  • Teen Genius: Adept at reprogramming, hacking and knowledgable about technology of all kinds.
  • Why Did It Have to Be Moths: Bobby has a intense fear of moths, because she's terrified of their unpredictable flight patterns. Her phobia also extends to butterflies.

    Lola (Strawberry)

Tropes:

  • Contortionist: She can compress herself into small spaces and bend in ways most people cannot do comfortably. Or at all.

    Juliette (Blueberry)
Actor: Harriet Kershaw

Tropes:

  • Crazy-Prepared: Works hard to master every possible skill she can, in case one of those is required for a mission. For example, when she goes undercover as a musician, she mentions she can play nineteen different instruments, but ironically, never learned the one she was chosen to play.....
  • Domino Mask: She wears one as part of her spy uniform. There seems to be no justified reason to do so, since her teammates don't bother concealing their faces at all.
  • Fluffy Tamer: She's very good with befriending wild animals and getting their help. She even managed to make friends with a cantankerous bull that nobody else could tame.
  • It's All About Me: A downplayed and subverted trope, but she's very definitely not hesitant about modest bragging.
  • Living Lie Detector: Juliette is very adept at reading the biological signals that indicate deception or nervousness, if the truth is not being told, she will know.
  • Master Actor: Her skillset involves taking on any personality and identity she can imagine or is chosen to portray.
  • Stock Ninja Weaponry: Her signature weapons are a pair of shuriken disguised as leg or ankle bracelets.
  • Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: Juliette has a deep fear of rats. She gets over it very quickly when required to work with a friendly rat on a mission. By the end of the episode, she's grown very fond of her new animal friend.

    Ms Berry
Actor:

Tropes:

  • Casual Danger Dialogue: Often gives mission briefings to the Berry Bees while doing something dangerous, like Mexican wrestling or during spy training exercises. Sometimes even while on spy missions.
  • Mentor Archetype: An adult mentor to the Berry Bees. She's the head of the Bee Intelligence Agency.
  • Token Adult: The only recurring adult seen in the series. Later subverted when it is revealed there are other adult agents under her command.

Villains

    Tara Bytes
Actor:
  • Corrupt Corporate Executive: Whether or not it's legal is never a concern if her plan eventually results in money being earned.
  • Meaningful Name: A pun on terabyte, since she's a tech mogul.
  • Villain with Good Publicity: Despite being caught several times, Tara always manages to evade prosecution for her crimes, because nobody ever wants to believe she's anything but benevolent. And her mastery of public relations always smooths over suspicions.
  • Would Hurt a Child: When she gets really angry with the Berry Bees for interfering, she tries to kill them with a remote controlled earth digging machine.

    Mirage

  • Master Actor: With the aid of his cunning disguises, Mirage can convincingly imitate anyone he wants to impersonate. Or create false identities/appearances for the purposes of misdirection.
  • Meaningful Name: He's a master of disguise, illusion and deception.

    Cosmo and Fauna Greenthumb
Actors:
  • Didn't Think This Through: Their plans are complex, but often end up doing more harm to those they intended to help due to some crucial oversight.
  • Eco-Terrorist: Their whole villain motif is to make the environment better for the planet and animals, without caring how much harm they do to humanity as a result.
  • Huge Guy, Tiny Girl: Cosmo is much taller then his diminutive wife.
  • New Technology Is Evil: Cosmo always insists on using outdated technology, like magnetic reel tape recording and biplanes. This often frustrates his wife, who prefers to use modern tech for their plans.
