Main characters
Himeno Kimihara
Himeno Kimihara
Voiced by: Seria Fukagawa (Japanese), Kristin Sutton (English)
The titular centaur.
- Buxom Beauty Standard: She gets a love letter that actually it's just an appreciation of her bosom. Nozomi agrees.
- Hidden Depths: The manga has a few chapters where she's basically isekai'ed with her sister into a dark medieval Europe. Hime adapts admirably quickly and puts aside her usual easily flustered, sweet nature to reveal an aloof, calculating, and also completely badass side to her personality. It's stressful for her, but she does very well for herself.
- Horse Archer: She does practice archery, as is traditional for her family.
- Nice Girl: Himeno is the sweetest and kindest female centaurs you'll ever meet.
- Tomboy and Girly Girl: The Girly Girl (along with Kyoko) to Nozomi.
- Trauma Button: As a child, Himeno was traumatized by the horror movie The Fear of Antarctica, which featured Antarcticans as monstrous creatures that devoured other people, such as centaurs, and wore their skins as suits. As a result, she's deeply terrified of Quetzalcoatl Sassassul, an Antarctican exchange student, at first; Sassassul's attempt at a smile causes her to faint on the spot.
- Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: She's deeply scared of Antarcticans at first, because of a movie she saw as a child which depicted a snake monster eating a centaur heroine.
Kyoko Naraku
Kyoko Naraku
Voiced by: Haruka Shiraishi (Japanese), Steph Garrett (English)
A horned girl and friend of Himeno's. Always cool and composed.
- Eyes Always Shut: We never see her with her eyes open. She opens them in the omake of volume 13 when she and the other girls are doing some cosplaying, but the effect is somewhat lessened by the fact that she's dressed up so heavily that she's almost completely unrecognizable as herself.
- Tomboy and Girly Girl: The Girly Girl (along with Himeno) to Nozomi.
Nozomi Gokuraku
Nozomi Gokuraku
Voiced by: Yuuki Kuwahara (Japanese), Alex Moore (English)
A dragon girl and friend of Himeno's. Has a rough personality. Lives in a karate dojo.
- Boyish Short Hair: She's very tomboyish, and she wears her hair short since she thinks having long hair would be too much of a bother to maintain.
- Tomboy and Girly Girl: The Tomboy to both Himeno and Kyoko.
- Winged Humanoid: She has black, batlike wings, but she can't fly.
Manami Mitama
Manami Mitama
Voiced by: Yuna Kamakura (Japanese), Rachael Messer (English)
An angel girl and the Class Representative of Himeno's class. Lives at a shrine with her father and four younger sisters.
- Alliterative Name: Manami Mitama.
- Big Sister Instinct: Manami is a dutiful older sister to her four younger sisters, especially the sickly Sue. Their safety and happiness are her top priority.
- Class Representative: Of Himeno and her friends' class. It's lampshaded that she was pretty much born to fit the role.
- Cool Big Sis: While she also acts as a surrogate mother figure to her sisters, she counts as this due to always encouraging and lovingly rearing them.
- Deuteragonist: She and her family get almost as much story focus as Himeno. The anime's ED also focuses on her.
- Generation Xerox: She looks very much like her late mother
- Hidden Depths: On the surface she's a capable and responsible classmate and older sister, pretty and generally friendly to those around her. She also murdered her grandfather in order to protect her younger siblings from his abusive behavior.
- Knight Templar Big Sister: Manami murdered her abusive grandfather in order to protect her younger sisters from his horrific treatment.
- Make It Look Like an Accident: When she was in middle school she deliberately hospitalized her abusive grandfather during a sparring match and told the hospital that he had fallen down while training. These injuries leave him hospitalized and eventually kill him, which was exactly what she wanted.
- Miko: She and her family live at a shrine, so naturally she works as one.
- Promotion to Parent: Her mom isn't around anymore, so she's had to take care of her little sisters.
- Winged Humanoid: She has white, feathery wings, but she can't fly.

Mitama Triplets
Chigusa, Chiho, and Chinami Mitama
Voiced by: Atsumi Tanezaki (Japanese), Tabitha Ray (English)
Manami's young triplet catgirl sisters.
- Big Sister Instinct: The trio look after and protect Sue whenever they go somewhere. And if Sue should be in danger, they immediately go to her aid.
- Cat Girl: Since their father is a cat person, they all have cat ears and tails.
- Identical Twin ID Tag: They can be told apart by their hairstyles; Chigusa has braids, Chinami has a ponytail, and Chiho has a shoulder-length bob.
- Same-Sex Triplets: Three little girls who are all identical.
- Single-Minded Twins: Single-Minded Triplets, in this case; they think and act alike so much, they're practically one person. They're often collectively called "Chi-chan" as a result.
- Theme Twin Naming: Their names all begin with "Chi". Because of this, they're often referred to collectively as "Chi-chan".

Manami's youngest sister.
- The Baby of the Bunch: She is the youngest Mitama child and, is thus, frequently doted on and protected.
- Delicate and Sickly: She was born with a fragile body and is frequently sick. She inherited this from her late mother, who was born with a similar condition and eventually died giving birth to Sue as a result.
- Half-Human Hybrid: She's a half-angel, half-catgirl hybrid. As a result, she has wings as well as cat ears and a tail.
- In-Series Nickname: Her full name is "Suetsumu" but everyone refers to her as "Sue" (specifically, "Sue-chan" in the Japanese version).
